Celebrating 35 years with my bride by my side!! What an amazing journey with this beautiful woman, Debi Zaas!

Each season has brought different blessings- from newlyweds, to parents of two daughters, to moving 13 times, to caring for both our parents until the Lord called them home, to our grandkids, from marketplace to ministry, from Navigators to Launch Global. The Lord has given us so much to be thankful for in every way possible. ❤️

Debi, you have been my best friend, my soul mate, my wife, my inspiration, and an incredible gift from God. I look forward to every day we share knowing your smile radiates the room! 🥰 by @brian.zaas

I am so thankful and blessed by everyone’s prayers. We see God so beautifully at work even in the unexpectedness of the past few days. All her grandchildren - Nicole, Jenna, and Kayla have had the opportunity to visit and share with mom before she drifted into deep rest.

Throughout the day, Mom appeared to be suffering terribly. They tried multiple different medications and treatments but nothing was working. This is all so sad. I was getting angry thinking, “If they had just honored the DNR, she would be comfortably with the Lord.”

Yesterday was a long day. We have new nurses on the evening staff. They seem to be regulating mom’s palliative care much better. My daughter, Jenna, stayed with mom overnight so I was able to go home with Debi to get some sleep. I’m back with mom this morning.

In the midst of the grieving, God has also given us opportunities to rejoice and celebrate the newness of life. Kayla and Debi were able to go to LaMaze training last night as she enters the final weeks of her pregnancy. We can’t wait to see our “little nugget” come into this world. God calls a loved one home and brings a new life into the world. What a beautiful picture of His creation and the cycle of life. ❤️

She is doing so much better. The hospice nurse believes she is in the final 48 hours of her journey home. 😇✝️

What a joy to visit with our dear friends in Rwanda as we shared a wonderful evening of a fellowship meal, deepening relationships, and making new friends. Looking forward to touring the area in Kigali before launching into our Navigators Life and Leadership Coaching training around Lead, Develop, and Care for the Rwanda team. We are truly blessed to be a blessing to so many and they sacrificially serve so many others in their community. by @brian.zaas
