Monday's opener at Jergel's, Bywater Call, was excellent! Glad I got to catch this group from Toronto on their way through. A powerhouse singer backed by a tight band. taken in Jergels by @brian15206

Red Wanting Blue brought their 30th Anniversary Tour to the South Park Amphitheater and lit the stage up! Such a dynamic performance. Great addition to the Allegheny County Parks Summer Concert Series. taken in South Park Ampitheater by @brian15206

Sunday's headliners at Hartwood Acres turned the energy up to 11. Nestor Torres and Tito Puente Jr. were phenomenal!
Manchester Craftsmen's Guild does a wonderful job keeping the heartbeat of jazz alive in this region. Their partnering with the Allegheny County Parks for the Summer Concert Series provides much needed visibility. taken in Hartwood Acres Amphitheater by @brian15206

Vampire Weekend puts on an incredible show. They start with a 3-piece for 2 songs and then yank down the curtain revealing a host of band members lurking inside.

That is when they really take off the brakes!

Friday night was epic. It was great to meet so many new friends including @armchairboogieboys. Thanks for coming out to welcome them to the Burgh and for supporting live music in Pittsburgh.

We’ll be focusing on recording for now, but back on stage 1/31 at the @thepenntheater in Butler with @dinnerbellroad
