First time seeing @sadhbhkeane_music and her brilliant band @forestfestemo such a joy to see young talented Irish artists at the very top of their game, definitely one of the highlights of the weekend for me. #irishmusic #festival #forestfestival #livemusic taken in Emo, Ireland by @brianbastick

Of all the thousands of photos I took at this years ForestFest this unnamed Mayo fan moments after their fabulous triumph over Kerry has to be my favourite. I cant remember if the windmill was spinning, but the curse is definitely over now. #Mayo #allirelandchamps #forestfestival #gaa #photooftheday taken in Emo, Ireland by @brianbastick

Finding it hard to post anything after the tragic passing of Glen, although I didn't know him and never met him, I proposed to my wife at one of his gigs, he had that way of emotionally connecting to his fans. I had always just assumed that he would play ForestFest at some point and that i might get to meet him. Condolences to all his family and friends. Here is just a few memories from what was a great weekend at ForestFest 2026.

An unbelievable aurora lit up the skies over Emo two nights ago—here are some images. I haven't had a chance to edit anything yet these are straight from the camera, but you'll get an idea how amazing it was. #laois #laoistourism #laoistoday #leinster #leinsterexpress @rtenews @laoisnews @laoistourism @laoisnews @irishtimesnews @independent.ie @auroraalertsireland by @brianbastick

Sometimes, in the simple act of cracking eggs, I’d catch these brief moments—little visuals that lasted only seconds. They kept me sane, letting me cling to the illusion that I was still creating, even as I was slowly cracking up myself. #photography #art #foodphotography #egg #abstract #abstractions by @brianbastick
