On my morning run today, I stopped by Darby Park in Inglewood, California, and as I circled the track, I found myself remembering the good ol' days playing Little League. We were some of the most talented young black and Latino players that came out of southern California.

Sportsman Little League, was nothing to be played with. This is where I honed my skills and began my baseball journey. We developed MLB players including myself, @cococrisp4 and @bwats0n .

So many memories, and so many life long brothers made. You would think the whole little league was blood relatives. by @briandeonbarton

My first Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, and the opened the roof which gave me this wonderful SkyView. Also, there were some other sky captures I caught along the way. by @briandeonbarton

Nationals Park was one of my favorite stadiums to play in. I still remember when I got picked off of first base, and got into a pickle. We were going back and forth just like in the Movie "The Sandlot". I ended up getting out of it, only to steal second base on the next pitch. If it was one thing I was good at, it was getting out of pickles.

It was great weather walking the Riverfront and walking around Audi field where the men's and women's pro soccer teams play as well as the UFL. by @briandeonbarton

Ready for my second full international run in San Salvador, El Salvador. Started the day with a shakeout run 3 mile run. Picked up my bib, and enjoyed the expo. Got a nice massage, and ran into some other Atlanta folks while out there. Glad to rep with my @smyrnarunclub peeps. #21ksansalvador2026 by @briandeonbarton

Thanks to @757.roc for welcoming me to my first Hyrox based workout. It definitely was intense and soon I will be training for my own Hyrox competition. by @briandeonbarton

Nostalgic high school days when we used to run these sand dunes for track and football training...it was never a joke, but now that I'm older and it has been over 20 years it really ain't funny. Great workout though and Sand Dune Park in Manhattan Beach, CA. by @briandeonbarton

Thank you to @gardnerapiaries for the full, immersive tour of their commercial bee apiary (bee farm). @metroatlantabeekeepersassoc was invited down to Baxley, Georgia, to learn about the ins and outs of operating a full-scale commercial bee business. We learned about queen production, distribution of new bee colonies, honey production, assembling transport boxes, etc. But the most important part, was learning the back story of how the company started. by @briandeonbarton

Chilling with guys before HBCU night at Wrigley Field Chicago by @briandeonbarton

It's bee season .... Im close to one year of taking beekeeping classes, and hopefully soon I'll start my own bee colony. Im building my own topbar beehive, combining my enjoyment of woodworking and curiosity beekeeping and harvesting honey. Just joined @metroatlantabeekeepersassoc , and they revealed a new Apiary space that was gifted to us by @westsideprovisions . Excited for the year by @briandeonbarton

After my half marathon in Huntsville, AL, a couple weeks ago I brought the kid out of me when I saw the US Space and Rocket Museum on my drive back home. I had to stop!!! When I was a child I always wanted to be an astronaut, but I chose baseball...but SPACE is still in me. by @briandeonbarton
