Glad I was able to experience this in person. RIP Bob ⚡️ 🌹 by @brianemuller

Beautiful morning in the Andes! We are at a camp on the Argentina 🇦🇷 /🇨🇱 Chile border. This morning, once the two day storm broke, we were able to access the ridgeline and get into Chile just a bit. Happy to be out here exploring around in new places…always trying to find new places to offer trips!! by @brianemuller

It’s not the snowiest winter, and it hasn’t been the best skiing, so I’ve been trying my hand at hunting. With 1 hour 15 minutes to go on a 5 month permit, I just got my first turkey!! Couldn’t be more stoked and looking forward to the next, maybe larger animal!! 🦃 by @brianemuller

Tried something new yesterday. You sure do have to swivel your hips to turn, but it was fun to ski powder and not fall on my first attempt!

Yesterday, Jen and I spent the whole day dedicated to celebrating our first wedding anniversary, from a 16 mile hike/trail run on Ben Lomond out our backyard, to wonderful Japanese food, and in our fashion…eating our one year anniversary cake in a parking garage on our way to see the new Betelgeuse movie. Love you babe! Here’s to many, many more! by @brianemuller

Aconcagua, the Stone Sentinel from the boot pack up to the Super C. It’s been a lovely time in Chile, and skiing the Super C was a great way to cap it off!

It was a nice change of pace to head out this year again on a trip for the wonderful folks at the Juneau Icefield Research Project (JIRP). This year the science was focused on ogives, or the light and dark banded formations of sediment on the glacier surface.

The team made some ice cores to melt down, some cores to carry back, and took stream samples to check for a few specific things.

Our weather wasn’t too terrible this year, but there was one particularly bad day.

Bonus points if you can find out whats ‘wrong’ with the map I posted.

Hokkaido, Japan, and all my friends here hold a very special place in my heart. Very thankful to @hokkaidobackcountryclub for the logistics and continued partnering. So thankful for my guests that allowed this trip to be possible in the first place, and for working hard with me to find the best snow. It wasn’t always easy but hopefully it was always fun! Special thanks to @masato_ogata_ for working with me again on this trip. It was a total blast! by @brianemuller
