On July 17th, 1998, I went to the Friday Night Dance party at ‘Cherry’ in West Hollywood The boy I was with had just broken up with me, and since we were still friends, we went and danced.

It was on the dance floor when I locked eyes with this woman. It was @mamamakeupsharon and @david_lachapelle! We danced and we danced. It was like meeting two old souls that I had known forever. We took a taxi up to the Chateau Marmont on Sunset Boulevard and took a midnight swim. The next night we headed to Zuma Beach to watch the sun set. We had a ghetto blaster with Madonna’s ‘Ray of Light ’, a blanket, and a bottle of wine. I had the great fortune to spend a lot of time with them that summer in LA and NYC.

I’ll never forget her infectious laugh, her verve for music and fashion, her to do list and her big heart. She had a faith that was pure - she is an angel💫
