You’re the loss of my life.

We lost my mom to cancer, and I am truly heartbroken.

She wasn’t the one who gave birth to me, but she definitely gave me life, love, belonging, and a home in every sense that mattered.

Over time, she simply became my mom. That’s who she was to me, and who she’ll always be.

She accepted me fully, called me her son without hesitation, and always made it clear how proud she was of me.

I’ve been through a lot in my life, but nothing has broken me like this.

There’s no villain crueler than cancer.

There’s no love quite like the one she gave me.

And there’s no day ahead that I won’t miss her.

I loved her so much.

And I always will.

Flew Me to Places That I’ve Never Been 🌟💚✈️💙🛫

Last month, I hit a major milestone with my 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣th lifetime flight on Alaska Airlines flight 1️⃣0️⃣9️⃣6️⃣ from Seattle to San Diego. 🌲🏔️🏙️ ➡️ 🌴🌞🌊

From my childhood home to my current home, Alaska Airlines has been there to help create memories of a lifetime. Huge thanks to the amazing crew for making this journey and this experience unforgettable! Clarissa, almost 30 years of friendship and somehow we’ve gone from prom dates to me getting to stand beside you on your wedding day. I couldn’t have been happier to be there for this chapter and to watch my best friend marry the love of her life. Dear Ali,

Getting to take part in your wedding this summer was literally one of the best days of my life. I’ve loved getting to call you my sister for the past 15 years, and somehow I’m even prouder of the woman you are today and the woman you’re still becoming.

And Tucker, thank you for loving Ali so well. We couldn’t have asked for a better person for her to build this next chapter with.

I know Mom would have been so proud to see this day, and so happy knowing that you found a love like this. I felt her there with us in all the little ways that mattered.

I’ve spent years saying I don’t believe in marriage. That was a lie. ❤️

Back before we lost the one real thing we’ve ever known.
