IN HONOR OF SACRED FRIENDSHIP ~ “Anamcara” is a Celtic term meaning “SOUL FRIEND” and refers to a deep spiritual connection with another person, where one can share life’s intimacy without masks. It comes from the Gaelic words anam (soul) and cara (friend).

Today I want to share with you all, the gratitude I have for my golden friendship with @brianmdunham ,aka habibi :) my eagle brother from the north🦅He is my anamcara, friend, confident and even co-creator of dreams(or as they would say in today’s world, business partner)

Brian, guardian of altars of the north, poet of Celtic Sufi shamanic prayers, and the medicine of laughter and patience, it has been a blessing to witness him in his medicine, his own song, and his genius mind.

I met Brian in Ecuador in 2023, at a retreat he orchestrated, “A Prayer for the Sanctuary of the Sacred Headwaters,” an encounter filled with healing, altruism, generosity, devotion to the sacred feminine and to Mother Earth, to Life itself, since then we have nurtured and cared for the thread of gold of Anamcara that binds us. Through the synchronicities of our shared passion for the Sufi path, persian poetry, art, activism, travel, shamanism, psychology, healing, ancient wisdom and above all, our profound devotion and love for Life, the Great Spirit, we now find ourselves rowing the ship of Evolutionary Journeys, with the absolute certainty of horizons of beauty! I received his invitation to be co-founder of @evolutionaryjourneys a year ago while we were drinking chai in the city of Konya-Turkey, and here we are now, weaving together this dream.

What an honor it is to create alongside you, in service to the highest good! What an honor it is to walk beside you, or run, or dance, or simply contemplate in silence, from Vilcabamba to Anatolia, or from Shasta to the Sacred Valley of the Andes, with you habibi, I walk The Way of Alchemical Beauty with my eyes closed, beloved brother! I am sure our adventurous souls will continue leading us to pilgrimages on this sacred Earth.

Thank you for being such an example of altruism and devotion, you never cease to amaze me.

Love convokes us!
and is pure beauty if you want it to be…

BEAUTY… what if the medicine the world needs lies in the art of contemplating beauty in simplicity? In opening the eyes of the heart, letting go of the veils and armours that keeps us distracted from the beauty that reverberates everywhere, all the time.

There is a universal human hunger for the sublime! For the Beauty that takes our breath away and that reminds us the real reason why we are alive! To witness the potent subtle elixir of beauty

Beauty is a human calling, it isn’t a luxury but a fundamental human need, sustaining us through even in the challenging edges of life and drawing us toward wonder.

It’s a deeper, more integrated experience than mere prettiness, it involves growth, depth, and a return to oneself.

Experiencing it feels like coming home, connecting us to a sense of belonging and the richness of our own unfolding life.

Beauty is a gentle yet urgent call to awaken our awareness, encouraging passion, creativity, and a more intimate relationship with the world and our inner selves.

In our retreat The Way of Alchemical Beauty, Beauty is our prayer, our muse, our diana, so this sacred remembrance awakens us the memory that the human existence is made up of human beauty.
And what could be more beautiful than dreaming together and supporting each other on this path of transformation?

If we are going to create a more beautiful world together, we need to bring everyone in. Women carry a special capacity to listen to the whole, to bring balance and harmony. We, women are the Peace Makers.

She is the main healer and facilitator of our gathering, she is the medicine. She has called us.
Words can’t explain this relationship with this sacred land, mirror of water, it’s something to be experienced.

There is a wisdom, an advanced technology, that resides in our bodies, in our wombs, in our hearts.

We live in a system that has disconnected us from the great oracle that is our body, our womb. How wonderful it is to know that it is in our hands, to return to our essence, to reconnect with the wisdom of being a Wombman.

Ancestral teachings that invite us to relax the mind and open the heart.
In the masterclass that Nan Ix’kik shared with us last month, she made a huge emphasis reminding us to go back to our bodies, to feel life rather than be all the time on our heads. Meet Nan Ix’kik Lopez Zabala.

Daughter of Nan Rosalía Zabala.

They are Mayan Wisdom Keepers, midwives of lineage, guardians of feminine wisdom passed down generation after generation. Leaders of their community, mothers, sisters, weavers, healers.

We are deeply honored that they will be joining us for *The Rainbow Chalice this October 15-20 at Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.* where they will share, fire ceremony, womb healing, obsidian healing for the womb (they will bring obsidians for each participant so we can carry it and use it on our lives), Rainbow Faja (protection and healing belt) initiation weaved by them specially for us, yoni steam, cacao ceremony, cacao divination, and so, soul much more!! Reclaiming the Waters of Femininity: The Heroine’s Journey 🐉

Who is the heroine?

Who is this archetype who has been collectively forgotten by mainstream culture?

Who are the role models women look to for inspiration in a world that has been dominated and fragmented by masculinity?

When I found the answer, my whole world changed— drastically

It doesn’t matter your gender identity— the heroin is an archetype we all have access to

Because we all carry masculinity and femininity within

& yet, the feminine is now ready to rise, because she is the advocate for life itself

The heroine attunes herself to the waters within — her feelings

She does not muscle her way through adversity

She feels it

She knows that adversity is not something “out there”

Adversity is within

Adversity lies within our own resistance to life itself

Our feelings

The waters

She does not resist it

She feels it

All of it

Completely

The hero fights the monster and prevails

The heroine is swallowed by the monster

Consumed

Her feelings, the very thing that once held her back, become the solution itself

In the discomfort, she creates the medicine of her own rebirth

Renewal

The waters flow clean

The waters give life

The muddled waters flow clear and what was once stagnant becomes a source of renewal

I care for this Earth. I care for these waters within and without.

I care for the people of this planet.

I am overjoyed to be able to share this wisdom to support us living harmoniously with ourselves, each other, and this planet.

What if CEREMONIAL ART is not something we simply practice, but something that helps us remember? Integrate life?

Across generations and cultures, humans have gathered to mark the moments that change us, births, endings, transitions, beginnings. Or/And “just” the blessing of a new day.

Ceremony gives us a moment to pause, listen, honor what has been, and consciously welcome what is becoming.

This Monday, I’ll be sharing in our next Rainbow Chalice Circle, exploring Ceremonial Artistry, Ancestral Mindfulness, Rites of Passage. As part of our Free Masterclasses prior our women’s Retreat in October at Lake Atitlan Guatemala.

Together, we’ll explore how ancestral wisdom can become a living practice, and how we can bring ceremony back into the ordinary moments of our lives.

International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples🍃

Every August 9th, the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples is commemorated in recognition of the first United Nations working meeting on indigenous populations, which took place in Geneva in 1982.
While this recognition is appreciated, every day is a day of resistance for native Peoples arround the world.

There are more than 476 million Indigenous peoples living in 90 countries around the world, representing only 6.2% of the global population, due to genocide and greed of other humans.

Remarkably, they help protect and steward 80% of the Earth’s remaining biodiversity.

We honor their resilience and resistance, culture, wisdom, values, and the care of Mother Nature.

How to support originary communities?
🕊️Support indigenous causes.
🌈Respect their traditions and cosmo vision
♾️Support inclusion and sustainability policies
🗻Amplify their voices on your networks
🪻Value their art and Wisdom
🌀Create alliances of reciprocity
