I’m not quite ready to admit that summer is “over”... (we’ve got a 90° day tomorrow so I’m going to be in the pool). Some summers just hit a little different, and this was one of them. It flew by SO fast, but it was filled with birthday parties, concerts, cool drinks, a fun 4th of July, baseball, and some of the BEST pool days with my very best friends 🥹☀️ I am SO thankful for the people who make the ordinary days feel like memories worth keeping, and for a summer full of the kind of moments I wish I could bottle up and keep forever. For 35 years, we’ve done a lot of rocking together.

You rocked me as a newborn when I needed comfort. Then came the days of sitting side by side on the back porch at Mom’s house, you in the big rocking chair and me in my little one. As I got older, we traded rocking chairs for car rides, rocking out to our favorite 90s songs with the windows down. And now, some of my favorite moments are still the simple ones: sitting on your front porch, drinking wine, listening to you play guitar as we rock the evening away.

The years have brought different kinds of rocking, but one thing has never changed… you’ve always been there beside me.

Looking back, it’s not the big milestones that stand out the most. It’s the ordinary moments that became extraordinary simply because they were spent with you. The conversations, the music, the laughter, the quiet evenings, and the comfort of knowing that no matter what season of life I was in, I had you.

The scenery has changed. We’ve both changed. But I’m so grateful that through every chapter, we’ve continued rocking through life together.

Happy Father’s Day, Dad. Thank you for every memory, every song, every porch sit, and every year we’ve shared. I love you. ❤️

With Toy Story 5 releasing this week, I couldn’t help but take a trip down memory lane.

This photo was taken with Woody and Jessie during my time working at Disney World in 2010, the same year Toy Story 3 was released. As Cast Members, we even received a special edition Toy Story 3 DVD/Blu-ray as a gift, and I still have it today.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years since then. These characters were such a big part of my Disney experience, and the Toy Story films have always held a special place in my heart. They remind me of a really special season of life filled with unforgettable memories, friendships, and a little Disney magic.

Happy Birthday to my Favorite Person!
I know getting older can be difficult, but I am SO glad you’re the person I get to grow old with. I hope this next trip around the sun brings you everything you wish for. From laughing with you at your senior prom, to laughing with you before your college graduation…
It has been really special getting a front row seat to this chapter of your life. Having you live with us this last semester and just getting to do everyday life together is something I’ll always be so grateful for—especially our sushi dates! 🍣

With your graduation just two weeks away, I just want to say I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished, how you’ve grown through all of this, and the person you’ve become. You’ve handled this season with so much strength and determination, and I’m truly going to miss laughing with you every single day.

This week feels personal in a way that’s hard to fully explain unless you’ve lived it.

As most of you know, Jon and I have been on this journey for quite some time now, and it hasn’t been easy in the slightest, but it has truly become a part of our story.

Infertility has stretched me in ways I never expected. It’s the waiting, the unknown, the constant balancing act between hope and protecting your heart. It’s showing up for appointments, for conversations, for decisions you never thought you’d have to make. It’s learning how to carry both grief and gratitude at the same time.

Walking through IVF has only deepened that. It’s clinical and emotional all at once. So much science, so much hope, and so many quiet moments in between where you’re just… trying to be okay. Trying not to get too ahead of yourself, but also not wanting to lose the belief that something good could come from all of this.

There have been really hard days. The kind that feel heavy in your chest and don’t have easy words. And there have also been moments that remind me why we keep going. The small wins, deep love, and the kind of resilience you don’t realize you have until you’re living it.

This week, I’m holding space for every version of this journey. For the losses, the waiting, the financial stress, the impossible decisions, and the quiet grief for what you thought this would look like. And also for the hope—the kind that feels fragile, but refuses to disappear.

If you’re in this too, in any form, you’re not alone. Even in the silence, even in the in-between, even on the days it feels like too much.

I still believe there is something good on the other side of this. And for now, that hope is enough to keep me moving forward. 🤍

Happy Valentine’s Day to the wonderful man I’ve gotten to spend NINE Valentine’s Days with. Your love and kindness are what get me through my toughest days. Your laughter and pure heart help fuel my very best days. I would not be who I am without you by my side every single day. Thank you so much for cooking delicious steaks, for picking out beautiful flowers and the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries. Happy Birthday to the best Dad in the whole wide world! (This is not up for discussion, I said what I said) 💁🏻‍♀️

I am endlessly grateful for you, I feel so blessed that I’ve gotten to spend 35 years on this crazy Earth with you. You’ve taught me valuable life lessons and guided me through some difficult journeys. You have made me laugh to the point of tears more times than I can count. I hope this year is wonderful for you in all the ways that you would want it to be. Thank you for being all that you are—kind, hysterical, intelligent, friendly, sharp, and truly the best Dad. I wouldn’t be who I am without you.

It’s time for a Jon Terry appreciation post! 🎉

Almost 2.5 years ago, Jon decided to go back to school to earn his MBA. Keep in mind, he already had eight years of higher education under his belt, but what’s two-ish more? While working full time managing the pharmacy, he powered through countless late nights of classes and assignments. Last night, he turned in his final assignment and will be graduating in May with (most likely) a 4.0 GPA.

Jon, to say I’m proud is an understatement. Your dedication, perseverance, and commitment to your goals have been truly inspiring. I know there were moments of frustration and when you wanted to give up, but you pushed through and did the damn thing. I can’t wait to see the opportunities ahead for you! 2026 is going to be your year of growth, and I’m so grateful to stand by your side for all of it.

I will forever be grateful that Mike stole my phone 8 years ago to post goofy status updates, tweets and swipe on my @tinder.

Just when I was about to give up on dating all together, Mike swiped right on the man that would become my husband.
