One year ago today I married my best friend on my home island on a beach at sunset. The most magical moment of my life that I’ll replay in my head for the rest of forever. taken in Sugar Beach, Maui by @brianoakley

This was from the morning of my 40th birthday. We were in Mexico City and @poni.oakley surprised me with a sunrise hot air balloon ride. It was freezing and beautiful and unforgettable. by @brianoakley

Here’s a taste of the process on this 48fl I had at the one show. Endless thanks to my wife @poni.oakley for keeping me fed and rolling with my complete absence for the past month. Also to @kippiks for helping me huge at the end. I wouldn’t have made the show without your help, to @barrett__bjorklund and @dick_nirks for the paint tips, to @denman_pdx for the parts guidance and letting me go shopping in your collection, to @niclaskrake for listening to me talk about this bike for months at work. We have a really amazing community of dudes here in Portland and it feels really special to have support by such talented individuals. by @brianoakley

Ive been trying to do the California loop for about a decade. Finally got it with a couple of the best dudes I know. Took the coast down to born free and the 395(ish) back up. So many beautiful roads. taken in California USA by @brianoakley

Rode this rig like this all summer. It’s the most fun bike I’ve built. It took me an embarrassingly long time to dial in the mag. So it goes with the trial and error too stubborn to get help method I always go with. by @brianoakley
