Mariah Carey is such a gift to this earth. Not just her incredible multi-octave vocal but also her insane songwriting skills and unparalleled creativity. She works her vocals like she's painting on a canvas, creating various different textures and focal points. Her recent episode on Masterclass gave me so much insight, and being the lifelong lamb that I am, I had to put my own spin on some of her magic. Mariah's catalogue is quite humongous, so it's impossible to sneak in all of the essentials but hopefully there'll be some of your jams in there as well as some fan favourites. I can't even begin to describe how lucky we are to even be alive in the same era as Mariah. I don't think I'm even coming close to the way Mariah sang this, but this is my tribute to her.
