Veterans Day!

To this day my dad will tell you his time in the USMC as a Combat Veteran is by far the most important time of his life.

I keep the list of the K-3-1 Marines that never made it back. This serves as my great reminder and grants me perspective of what I have.

To whom much is given much is expected

Happy 4th bday to my youngest, George August Murphy.

Born at the height of a pandemic, George has been bursting with energy and fun everyday since.

Can’t wait to listen to Rock & Roll, have donuts and go to his favorite restaurant (BW’s) for dinner to celebrate.

Happy B-Day to the wife @amyvannorstrandmurphy

She is the Princess/Queen of The Murphy family.

Without a doubt she is the beauty, brains, talent, heart and soul of our little family.

She does it all.

I’m sure the hardest part of being Amy is she makes everything LOOK and seem so easy… Because she IS so damn good at everything.

I don’t know how it’s possible for that to be true, but with her IT IS.

We are so lucky.

I’m so lucky.

But little Georgie said it best yesterday when he said “She’s THAT old and doesn’t even need a cane to walk!”

I didn’t tell him I’m 12 years older and was her age now when we met…..

Happy 3rd bday to my Georgie Gus!

I was frustrated that I couldn’t find a “perfect” pic of us, but I realized that’s what makes GEORGE perfect….He never stops moving. Reminds me of someone I knew very well…(me)

Born in the height of a global pandemic, this child has brought unbridled joy into our lives.

Happy 40th to this extraordinary human! No single human is more deserving of every good thing that comes.

@michaellittig has been everything to me over the last decade-ish. We’ve been mentors to each other, co-workers, co-founders, workout buddies, accountability partners, truth-tellers, questioners, confidantes, best-friends and FAMILY.

There are too many words and too many stories. So I’ll just tell it like it is (like always)…
