You knock me down but I get up again. Never gonna keep me down. I’ll get up again with a smile knowing the past is dead. The future never happened yet. The present is what matters. by @brianshakti

This has been such a wonderful ride. Wrapping up Music to Her Ears’ festival run with a screening at home. Thank you to @newyorkcinefest!! ♥️♥️ I’m so extremely grateful to @brianshakti, my main actor, who really can do it all. Make you laugh till you cry or really just intimidate the shit out of you. You gave me so much to work with and made the process of directing and acting so much easier, dare I say fun. :) All the late night beers at @birdshollywood manifested into something special. @darylgil30 🎥 My favorite DP. I feel like we can do anything we set our minds to. You inspire me, push me to be better. A grounding force that keeps me from bouncing off the walls. Love you, friend. Love everyone who helped make this short what it is. @nicxandria our other star who shines in everything she does!@robertstronger the most dedicated sound mixer and now good friend ☺️ @katrinazemrak our talented composer and post sound mixer. That score was tricky but your expertise and passion put me at ease. How do you know so many instrumentsssss🩵 thank you to @peepjseye for helping out with lighting and camera! And to @madrexton for a wonderful and skillful edit! AND TO @johnorrtheactorist for letting me film that interview sequence LITERALLY the NIGHT before you left LA and for supplying the actual music to your ears that you hear throughout as @thelastdomino. To make movies with your friends is magic. It is a privilege. It is not lost on me. I hope there will be many more, my loves. Thank you. #director #independentfilm by @brianshakti
