Meet 2026 FGI Chicago Rising Star Awards finalist Brian S. Leon of KOUSH! ⭐

Brian is a finalist in the Fashion Design category. Come meet Brian and all of this year’s Rising Stars at the 11th FGI Chicago Rising Star Awards on October 10 at Public Works Gallery!

Brian S. Leon is a fashion designer and Creative Director whose work transforms utilitarian codes into refined, expressive fashion. Drawing on his background in fashion, business, and marketing, and shaped by a family tradition of craftsmanship, Brian developed an appreciation for making, discipline, and the values that continue to inspire him to pursue his dreams. He is the creative force behind KOUSH, a creative lab established in Uruguay in 2021 and currently operating and presenting in Chicago, Illinois. KOUSH began with a simple idea: encouraging men to embrace individuality and wear something different. That vision has evolved into a genderless practice incorporating menswear and womenswear, where functional elements are reinterpreted through elegant silhouettes and personal expression.

With experience presenting his work through fashion shows nationally and internationally, Brian continues to build KOUSH as a platform for individuality, confidence, and self expression.
