You only get 1 chance to do something for the 1st time. Those words were once told to me by a teacher a few years ago. I wanted to do this right. And this was Thee most nervous and Likely ill prepared I was for any show. Some things you can't prepare for, for a show like this. There comes a point where you have to say, "Forget it! We'll do it live!"

Yes, this was my 1st Rope act. And When the most nerve wracking part of my whole performance was the little skit where I pretend to Not be planning on performing on rope", I was ready.

I'm not gunna lie, I had a blast figuring out how to perform on rope. It was incredible having some Comedic moments. I say this every year, But there is no better feeling that the rush of the audience.

Why Rope? Why Santana? Why Now?
I was not topping last years performance. It was not in the cards, I had that built up in my mind for 4 whole years and when you finally Win, It's hard to WIN MORE. Will I top it? Of couse! Bit it was time for a new game. Long story short, "Smooth, by Santana" has been calling to me for Years. I just needed to Hear it. And Feeel it. And I finally did.

After many years of imagining what this moment would be like, It came, and it went. Was it exactly as I planned 🤔 Actually No. But the best things in life never are. My incredible coach @slytherintheair made this night even more special by pushing me out of my comfort zone and proving to me what she already knew, Come Show time, I've got this. I'll take 5 nail-biting seconds. ^,^

A dream come true!!! Honesly, so sureal!!! It was 4 years ago I saw the Incredible @kyliegotzfried do a Middle Split Balance, and I said, "I wanna do that on silks!!!!" It was this move that truly got me into the Celeste community, and my life is better for it!
As I built this, I wanted it to be a celebration of the last 7 years. The aim was to include a little bit of every show I've done, surrounding my crown jewel move.

It's funny, looking back. Every year, as showcase approaches, I've told @slytherintheair , "This'll be the year!!! This is it!" And every year passes with another, 'Not quite there yet!' Heck! The progress I've made in the last few months alone has been mind-blowing! It's not always that exciting of a "is he gunna actually hold it? But I think, as a debut to the world, the suspense made for all the better of a show!!! 🤣 Love it when a plan comes together!
Bethany, I could not have done this without you! Thanks for the Early Mornings every Sunday!!!! And every Heart-to-heart in-between the goofing around. You are truly 1 of a kind. 😁

Yes, this was my best show, Ever! But I truly could not have done it without the incredible encouragement from the show-stopping, @mothtoaflamejewelry . Having you in my corner was a piece of the puzzle I never knew I needed! More pointy, less place-y, more Go-y!!! I'll remember that!

Ofcourse The @celesteaerialarts community is incredible, but I want to thank my Thursday Silks Crew for hanging with me every week and pushing me to get this! Jenna, Irene, Holly, Abbi, Cassie, Rachel, Maddie, Thank you!!!!!!

Lastly, thank you to my 1st coach @elclimbscurtains . Your words still ring in my ear from the first couple of classes. When I've pleaded, 'I wanna do Harder moves!!!' And you said, "Stick with it, It gets harder". As always, You were right! Harder it got!!! Thank you for everything!!!!

Everyone knows I'm a ropeling and Silks person through and through, but when something fun comes my way on another apparatus, I'm there!

I'm proud to be in the 1st class of Kylie's Drop. It was so much fun and so much better than I thought! Please forgive the Actual Eternity it took for me to Let Go! (I Forgot for a day that I don't like many drops... Oopse) @theflyingky Made me forget all that and before I knew it, I was upside down and Free Falling! Celeste could not have asked for a better Hammock Queen to teachbthese next level skills!!

After years of postponing the move "Scorpion", I finally have it figured out! All it took was the right song to get into and a bit of flexibility. ^,^
