How it started vs. How it’s going

That’s the same ZZ plant and she’s getting out of hand.

“Errors can be beautiful and don’t always need to be validated or fixed. Sometimes it’s about understanding its language without judgement.”

“Be still.”

Quieting the mind.
What the world needs to do more of.
Be still and alone, in complete silence.
Allowing thoughts to pass like clouds.
Disassociating with thoughts.
Giving the ego a break.
No comparisons. No goals. No desires. No race.
This is the way. Up.

I drooled everywhere, especially on cake. 🍰 Let’s celebrate. Let’s raise our glasses (and eyebrows) to falling on our faces and getting back up.

#TBT: My “3D graffiti” phase

This was circa 2006 and illustrated entirely in Photoshop because I couldn’t afford Cinema 4D and Blender’s UI at the time was scary AF.

I’ve always loved abstract art (inspired by Kandinsky) and its unassuming forms. Its improvised and freestyle nature lets the mind run free without so much subjectivity. To this day, I try to allow room for personal interpretation in everything expressive I work on.
