“Welcome to the MIT Alumni Association” is crazy to hear 😭😮‍💨 but we made it 🎓

A couple days ago I graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 7 semesters with a degree in Biological Engineering and a minor in Black Studies. Today I turned but I’ve been a savage.💰

When my advisor told me to consider other options than Stanford, I think I took that personally so I had to go get accepted to the school twice just to show em it wasn’t luck. 🗣

God has worked, is working, and will continue to work miracles in my life. I’m extremely grateful for the encouragement, love, and support from friends, family, and everyone who’s had the chance to influence my life, for better or worse; I wouldn’t be here, celebrating my graduation, without you.

I’m happy that I can look back and realize I am the person now that I dreamed I wanted to be as a first year; there’s no better feeling. Excited for the underclassmen to step into our shoes in the coming years and extremely proud of the legacy I’m leaving behind.

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things. There isn’t anything I believe in more than the capacity for anyone to achieve greatness given enough time and effort. Run your own race. Especially at a school like MIT, surrounded by geniuses and the ambitious alike, you will inevitably question your own timeline for success.

I soon realized that you are doing yourself and your ancestors a disservice by trying to be like anyone else. Chase your own dreams. Find confidence and solace in the fact that everyday you wake up, you are building toward your perfect life. That the position you yearn to be in will be yours in time. There isn’t any other way I’d live my life. Trust your process and stay disciplined, your time will come sooner than you think.

Blessed to be able to dedicate my life to achievement. this right here was for me and can nobody take that away. i said i was gon do it, so i did. i look forward to when i can look back, years later, on the positive impact i had on this fraternity and what it means to be a good Kappa man.

this is a really big moment. really like 4-5 years in the making, it’s always been my dream school and it’s gon be everything i want it to be fasho. i can tell ima really really really fw stanford.

just under 3 years from now, ill be triple degreed up, welcoming my jd and my masters. i’m excited for that. that’s so major.

and it’s cool knowing this is who im going to be. my career. i’m still motivated to be great, i still want that for myself. attorney williams. ima be big. for suuureeee. in the end, hope i helped a lot people.

i got no clue bout this social media sh tho. they got us doing maddddd reading. im 300% locked in so if i go ghost don’t blame me. i fw fashion tho, styling clothes, tryna take the hardest fit pic w/e that’s just what i do.
