Went up to In the Welsh Wind Distillery this morning and bought a couple of bottles of Meirion blended malt whisky… it’s the 3rd in their trio of Blended Welsh Malt whiskies. Had a wee sip at the distillery and for a light peaty whisky it was very fruity and had a slight smokiness to it. I really enjoyed it. 46% vol and 70cl. #inthewelshwind #inthewelshwinddistillery #welshwhisky #worldwhisky #wales by @brib_ucks

JOHNETT Swiss Single Malt Whisky bought home by my gorgeous wife who’s just returned from a trip to Switzerland 🇨🇭 🥃👌🏼😘

Using 100% regional ingredients. Local mash from barley malt, distillation in the house of Etter, spring water from the Höllgrotten Baar and ageing in oak barrels combine to finally produce a Swiss unique Whisky.
Premium quality distilled by Etter.

I’ll look forward to cracking this one open this evening.. by @brib_ucks

In Dylan Thomas’s famous 1954 radio drama Under Milk Wood, the fictional Welsh seaside village is named Llareggub—which is simply the phrase “bugger all” spelled backwards.

Penderyn 25yr old “Cask One” Single Malt Welsh Whisky. The 1st 25yr old Welsh Whisky ever produced. The very limited 420 bottles are not numbered as the privilege is having part of the very first barrel of Penderyn Single Malt Welsh Whisky from barrel No.1/2000.
