end of summer camera roll

a peek at my last couple months!! My weeks have been go go go, so days where I don’t have anything planned and have time to sit and read have been rare🥲 but today was finally that free day!!! I’m on ch 10 of my arc of Every Ordinary Thing and I just adore Jessica’s writing so much

this past month, I spent my 25th birthday picking up my freebies and shopping at one of my local indie bookstores! And I got my Hello Kitty library card without having to wait in a line! I’m soaking up the sun while I can because I’m a summer girl at heart, but I’m excited to break out all my cardigans for real fall weather

I got a Horror Nights season pass with my friend!! First stop was Sinners to see the MBJ lookalike👀🤭

I turned 25!!! One last year of healthcare🥲

shopped at my local indie bookstore!! I have until the end of this month to use my freebie book punchcard so I have to figure out what book to get asap!

one last baseball game of the season

poolside reading because if summer weather is going to keep going, I’m going to take advantage of the sun

my friend brought me flowers😭❤️‍🩹 BYE I LOVE GIRLHOOD

baseball again!! last minute tickets turned out sooo worth it

💐

my family got together to make pupusas and cheer on the dodgers🇸🇻

my hypothesis: everyone is going to love this movie

it was so so special getting to watch one of the books that got me back into reading be turned into a movie🥹 and to be in an audience of book lovers who all laughed, swooned, and screamed when I did is such an irreplaceable experience!! Sept 23 cannot come soon enough💙🩷

bts of july💐🎇🫖🍣⚾️

Hot summer days & spending time with my sister while she’s on break☀️ We had a bookstore + iced coffee + flower bar day, an afternoon tea and walk in the gardens day, a sushi day to celebrate her passing all her AP exams, and more 👯‍♀️🩷 The best part of life is getting to have a little sister and I just loved getting to have full days with her this past month

August is going to bring more fun weekend adventures and the start of football season!!! I swear I still read! I just haven’t finished a book in a while…🫣 hoping that a book with summer vibes will get me to actually finish a book soon!

fangirling was never a phase for me!!

obsessed with @primevideo’s obsessed fest!!! the best day that made me reflect on why I’m so happy to call SoCal home & why I’m so grateful to have found a corner of the world where I don’t have to pretend to love things in a normal way😂 it was so liberating to be in a space full of people who are also unashamedly loud about what they love! I still have so many more pictures to post, so please don’t get sick of me <333

bits of life offline these past couple months

It’s been mostly sunny SoCal days, iced coffee always, and saying yes to new things!! I won concert tickets 2x which was kinda wild, so I got to see Lewis Capaldi and Louis Tomlinson with my family! I got to go to Universal FanFest Night, the CA Strawberry Festival, a Dodgers game, and so much more, so my heart and schedule have been so full

I’ve been intentional about making Saturdays fun days and resting on most Sundays, but I’m still trying to find a balance between life and making time to read because I’ve only read three books in two months🥲 but that balance will not be found this weekend because I’m going to Prime Video’s Obsessed Fest tomorrow!!! With The Love Hypothesis teaser dropping today and whatever happens tomorrow, I might implode from being so happy to be around book lovers again💖

small joys lately💓

hiiii friends, popping in to say I am living! I wanted to slowly start picking up new books, but NetGalley approvals and Read Now books had another plan! They’ve been tempting me too much this past month, so I’m exercising an ounce of self control to stop myself from requesting any more until after I get through my current ARCs

I spent the weekend living vicariously through the girlies’ Coachella vlogs and loved seeing all the cute desert outfits!! I’m more of a homebody, but my exceptions to avoiding crowds are book related events loll🤭 sooo I’m hoping to go to the LA Times Festival of Books this weekend🤞🏼& Yallwest next weekend! Let me know if you’re going too!!

first days of spring🌱

went up the coast this weekend to spend time with my friends!! had some good food and wine & passed by the local bookstore for a serotonin boost🙂‍↕️

I can’t believe this is the last full week of March, where is time going?! I’m so excited for baseball to start this week and for some cute local book related and non-book related events these next few weekends

I’ve been rereading romcoms recently to get me out of my slump & it worked!! I’m starting some reading for LATFOB and Yallwest next month & spring cleaning my bookshelves to swap/donate books I don’t want anymore!! so excited to finally restart reading through my tbr!

🌸 QOTD: what book are you reading to kick off spring?

$oh how I love being a woman💖 Happy Women’s History Month (and a belated International Women’s Day) featuring some of my favorite books written by women books pictured — A Love Song For Ricki Wilde by Tia Williams — The Right Move by Liz Tomforde — Beach Read by Emily Henry — Just For The Summer by Abby Jimenez — Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan — You, With a View by Jessica Joyce — The Ex Vows by Jessica Joyce and a special thank you to the women in my family who crossed literal borders to give me the life I have today❤️‍🩹 May we all dare to live at least a fraction of how authentically and courageously the women before us have lived • • • • • by @bribliophile$

happiest in a bookstore

happy love week!! I’m so so excited to be attending LoveLitCon this weekend!!! I saw their announcement back in 2024 and never thought *I* would be invited to go🥹 but everything is feeling very real today! officially in outfit planning mode (& pre-travel stressing lol)

Spending this week doing last minute reading and shopping! It’s going to be my first romance con & my first time going solo to a multiple day bookish event, so I’m a little nervous but mostly excited!!

🩷qotd: have you traveled for a book convention before? pls let me know any advice you have!!

january recap (the didn’t finish a single book edition)

my excuse for not finishing any books in january is that I spent almost two weeks in hawaii (a dream!!!) and then spent the rest of the month either with my family or mega spiraling lolll

Photo dump is of some of my favorite moments on Oahu🤍 I read on the beach exactly one time haha, but I am truly so lucky and grateful to have had such long and exciting days there that I didn’t have down time to read. Very much hoping to complete at least a few books this month!!
