Happy Birthday in Heaven, Grams. ❀️ We miss you every single day. I’m so blessed to have had you as my grandma. You were one of the most caring and generous people I’ve ever known, but you were also tough as nails. πŸ˜‚ You loved your family more than anything and would do absolutely anything for us. Thank you for everything you did for us and, somehow, everything you still do even though you’re not here. Our family continues to keep your traditions alive, and now we get to pass them down to our kids. I know that would mean so much to you. ❀️ I love you and miss you every day, Grams. I wish you were still here to see everything going on in our crazy lives and watch these kids grow up. Happy Birthday. Give Papa and everyone else up there a big hug for us and tell them we love and miss them too. ❀️ Until we see each other again. Love you, Grams. ❀️ by @allyrichardsonnv

My heart is full looking through these photos of Madden & Everly doing what they love. Being a sports mom is truly the best!! The competition, watching their effort and improvements, their success and learning from their failures…the friendships!! I can go on and on. The early morning and long days are worth every minute - there’s no place I’d rather be than cheering on my crew πŸ’™βšΎοΈπŸ’šπŸ₯Ž by @allyrichardsonnv

What a fun weekend watching Everly play in her first six-game tournament! Three games on Saturday, three more on Sunday, and the girls battled their way into the Silver Bracket Championship game. Everly played shortstop in every game, and she was fantastic. I couldn’t be more proud of how much she has grown as a player. For the last few years, so much of our family’s baseball life has revolved around Madden and the Wild Things. Everly has always been thereβ€”cheering us on, supporting her brother, and spending countless hours at the ballpark. This weekend, it was finally her turn to have the spotlight, and it was amazing to watch. After so many years of coaching, I got to do something different… sit back and just be Dad. I’ll admit, it wasn’t easy! πŸ˜‚ I even made myself stay out in the outfield so my coaching instincts wouldn’t take over from the sidelines. Any coaching she got came after the games. I’m so proud of Everly, her teammates, and everything they accomplished this weekend. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. ❀️πŸ₯Ž by @allyrichardsonnv

Last Friday, we lost my grandpa, and it’s hard to put into words how much he meant to all of us. He was the most loving, caring, and kind person I knew. Family was everything to him, and he spent his life showing us what unconditional love, loyalty, and generosity looked like. He was always there to support us, cheer us on, and help anyone in need without ever expecting anything in return. Together, he and my grandma built something truly specialβ€”a big, loving family that remains incredibly close because of the foundation they created. The love, values, and traditions they passed down will continue through all of us for generations to come. I could spend hours listening to his stories about growing up in Vallejo and hearing how he met Grandma. Those stories, along with the lessons he taught us, are memories I will cherish forever. One thing he always preached was that family is everything. He didn’t just say itβ€”he lived it every day. Because of him and Grandma, our family is as close as it is today. He will be missed more than words can express, but it brings me comfort knowing he is reunited with Grammy again and with so many of his lifelong friends. Thank you for being the best grandpa anyone could ask for and for teaching us the values that truly matter in life. Your love, wisdom, strength, and example will stay with us forever. Until we see each other again, Papa. We love you, we miss you, and we will carry your legacy with us always. ❀️ by @allyrichardsonnv
