Because you’re still reading,
The end of an era has come. Parts of me that should’ve died long ago, finally laid to rest. Feels like breathing room and a fresh pedicure lol. It also feels like my first tattoo and that very last exhale when you’re lifting weights. From someone who has battled with perfectionism, I can say I’m not perfect, my life isn’t perfect, how I parent isn’t perfect, what I create isn’t perfect, I don’t have it all , I don’t want it all, and at the same time I’m grateful, and I’m loved, and I’m blessed.
Intrusive thoughts be having me thinking girl “girl just shut up and show up “
What I know is, using my voice is a part of my purpose so if one day she’s writing, the next day there’s a mic then so be it but what needs to get said will get said. And not too much on the self editing because again love my life, love me, hate that for whoever feeling bothered.
