In this second clip from @coinferencex Singapore, Edwin Mata explains the distinction between the financial instrument and the path to investing in it.

A digital portal can make an opportunity easier to find and explore, including in markets an investor may never have considered.

Tokenization can amplify a financial structure that already works.

Speaking at @coinferencex Singapore today, @edwinmata.eth used a fund issuing a bond to make the point: these are established financial instruments.

Tokenization adds an operating layer that can broaden access and automate parts of their lifecycle, while the underlying business and legal structure remain essential.

You issue debt almost every month. You still pay like it's the first time.

In the latest from Yahia Gutierrez, our Head of Sales: lending platforms and private credit managers that issue debt every month still repeat four cost layers on every single deal, structuring and legal, placement and intermediation, investor onboarding, and post-issuance servicing.

Tokenization does not change what you issue. It changes the marginal cost of issuing again, the number that actually matters for a recurring issuer.

The @europeaninvestmentbank and @societegenerale have already taken digital bond issuance into production, and Brickken's own infrastructure has processed $660M+ in cumulative tokenized asset value across 30+ countries.

A smart contract can verify a signature.

It cannot verify that a valuation is accurate, that reserves exist, or that a legal document is still enforceable.
