Most people walk into a LEGO Store and immediately look at the shelves… but some of the coolest LEGO isn’t for sale. 👀🧱

LEGO Stores around the world can have incredible builds inspired by the cities and cultures around them.

I’ve found a massive Big Ben in London 🇬🇧, Barcelona’s famous cathedral 🇪🇸, and even an ancient Chinese taxi in Beijing 🇨🇳.

Sometimes the best LEGO in the entire store is the one you can’t buy.

Have you ever found a LEGO store you had NO idea was there? 👀🧱

On a random street in Budapest 🇭🇺, I stumbled across this seriously underrated LEGO shop.

Bulk LEGO to dig through. Drawers filled with sorted bricks. Sets I definitely wanted to take home…

But there was one problem.

They only took CASH 😭

And with just a few coins on me, I ended up buying the only LEGO I could afford… a handful of LEGO tiles 😂

I ran 3KM to a LEGO store… only to find out it was closing in 5 MINUTES 😭🧱

So the clock was officially ticking.

I started scanning the shelves for rare LEGO, trying to find the best thing I could buy before they closed.

And with ONE minute left… I had to compromise 😂

Because a little LEGO is always better than no LEGO.

I gave a LEGO photographer my LEGO… and told him to do whatever he wanted 😳

This is @alx.projekt_v

He takes some seriously INSANE LEGO photos, so I handed over my original Bionicles to see what he could create.

And yeah… the results speak for themselves. 🤯

LEGOLAND Shanghai has a LEGO passport most fans probably don’t know about 🤯🧱

And this isn’t something I’ve seen at every LEGOLAND.

At LEGOLAND Shanghai, you can get this special passport, activate it on the screen, put it directly into the machine, and watch it print a stamp inside.

The entire process is ridiculously satisfying 😂

📍 Important: This reel is specifically from LEGOLAND Shanghai in China. I’m not saying this passport or machine is available at every LEGOLAND park.

Can you actually find REAL LEGO in a market full of knockoffs? 👀🧱

Inside this Chinese market, I found fake LEGO everywhere.

Knockoff sets. Strange builds. Things LEGO would probably NEVER make. 😂

But hidden on the third floor was something I wasn’t expecting…

A store filled with REAL LEGO.

Rare sets, collector’s items, sealed sets you don’t see every day, and even old LEGO merchandise.

And somehow I walked out with a LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 watch. 😂⌚️

Gali: Toa of Water

The first of my long awaited @lego Bionicle series! Using sets from @bricksnlifts collection!

This series was such an interesting challenge to pull off. Definitely some of the trickiest interactions I’ve had with LEGO sets. This one specifically took a lot of patience in finding the right balance… literally and figuratively.

While I didn’t have much water features in my backyard this shot still strongly resembles the cliffs this character was seen climbing in the original promo art. So I was pretty satisfied with what I was able to get given my options.

Kopaka: Toa of Ice

Hard fought shot using the last bit of snow I had in my yard. Pretty limiting because of that and given my main man is snow themed, I’ll definitely need to take some more shots of him this coming winter.

But in the meantime enjoy!

Onua: Toa of Earth

I really liked shooting this one. Definitely one of my favourite designs from the bunch!

Starting to really play with the shadows on this one and adding light to shots that really didn’t have much. Pretty happy with these results. Hope you guys enjoy it too!

Lewa: Toa of Air

I was a bit worried when I realized all the leaves were gone, but I’m happy with the “jungle” look I was still able to capture. The muted colours almost make it fit better with the rest of the shots!

Pohatu: Toa of Stone

Super happy with this shoot. I ended up enjoying this character way more than I thought I would - definitely one of the most unique designs!
