Sooo…I’ve been quietly building a new company for the past several months, and I’m finally ready to start sharing it. 🤍

It’s called The Collegist.

The idea has actually been living in my head for close to 15 years, but now it’s something real.

The Collegist is being built for high school students trying to figure out not just “Can I get in?” but “Will I belong there?”

It’s made with the college students who are already living it, for the high school students trying to figure it out, and trusted by the moms helping their kids navigate all of it.

There is already SO much information about college. Rankings. Admissions statistics. University websites. Campus tours. Facebook groups. Reddit. TikTok.

But there’s a space I’ve always felt was missing.

After years of thinking about it — and talking to high school students, college students and moms — I kept coming back to the same questions:

What does it actually feel like to be a student there?

Who are the people?
What happens on a random Tuesday?
What is the social scene really like?
What’s the town like when you leave campus?
Where will you find your people?
And ultimately… where will you thrive?

That’s the space I’m building. And it’s The Collegist.

Real student voices. Real campus stories. And tools we’ve been developing like The Fit Finder and The Tuesday Test to help students discover their schools — and then figure out which one actually feels like theirs.

And this is truly just the beginning.

The Collegist is still building. Still learning. Still asking a million questions. But I’m finally ready to let people in and start sharing the process.

So if you’re a high school student figuring this out, a college student already living it, or a mom helping your kid navigate all of it, I would LOVE your support.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey.

From event planning and fashion, to television, PR, hospitality, and now helping create experiences and brands people truly connect with…every chapter has shaped the next one.

I’ve always believed the strongest brands are built through storytelling, relationships, consistency, and how you make people feel long after the moment is over.

Grateful to VoyageDallas for the opportunity to share a little of my story, my heart behind hospitality, and the experiences that have shaped me along the way.

Some traditions take years. ❤️

If you’ve ever been to The Office in Cabo, you know Rambo.

For years, Rambo has been more than someone who hands out tequila shots. He’s become part of the memories, the laughter, and the tradition that keeps so many of us coming back year after year.

The original Rambo retired several years ago, but the tradition lives on. Today, a new Rambo carries it forward with the same heart, the same energy, and the same unforgettable welcome.

This trip, something happened that had never happened before.

For the first time, Rambo became the guest.

Todd became Rambo.

Watching the roles reverse for just a few minutes was funny, unexpected, and honestly a little emotional. It wasn’t about wearing the hat or the holsters. It was about what they represented.

Some things can’t be bought.

They can’t be requested.

They can’t be rushed.

They’re earned over years of friendship, trust, showing up, and treating people like family.

That’s what made this moment so special.

The best traditions aren’t kept alive by places.

They’re kept alive by people.

Here’s to the people who keep traditions alive. 🍻❤️

Some nights deserve their own highlight reel.

What started as a vacation somehow became a tradition.

The older I get, the more I realize that life isn’t measured by things, accomplishments, or even destinations. It’s measured by moments. The spontaneous ones. The unforgettable ones. The ones where nobody wants the night to end.

Grateful for the laughter, the dancing, the memories, and most of all, the people who make them so special✨

Not sure David Yarrow would approve of the smoking Australian Shepherds, but Todd sure loved his Father’s Day gift.❤️

Happy Father’s Day to the man who makes our world go round.

To the man who shows up for every one of us—on our best days and our worst. The one who gives endlessly without judgment, always leading with sincerity, patience, and love. The one who still makes my heart skip a beat every time I see him, even after all these years.

I love this man and the way he is always there. He answers every phone call, does the endless driving and carpools, cooks, cleans, listens through all of our talks and tears, encourages us to be better and strive for more, gives us honest advice (whether we want to hear it or not!), loves all of our kids’ friends as if they were his own, loves my family like his own, and somehow still manages to make us laugh along the way.

He is the steady hand, the safe place, the voice of reason, and the biggest supporter any of us could ever ask for.

A true original. A true icon. And a truly incredible father.
