Hi, it’s me – Helen! 👋

For more than two decades, I’ve been helping brides on their wedding journey. While that might make me feel a little old, it also means I’ve seen so much change in the world of wedding dress shopping over the years.

At The Bridal Box, my team and I are here to give you confidence, create an unforgettable experience, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. We want your dress-shopping journey to be fun, exciting, and completely stress-free.

So here I am on social media, stepping out of my comfort zone – just like many of you do when you walk through our doors to try on dresses for the first time!

💖🎉 20 years ago in early September we opened the doors to our Torquay Boutique and let me tell you those years have gone by in a flash!! 🎉💖

The love and support we have received over the years has been amazing. It’s been a privilege to be a small part of so many weddings. Being here to support you along on your wedding journey has been quite special, seeing brides grow in confidence from the first step into the boutique then seeing photos from the big day is a beautiful thing to be a part of. 🤍

The friendships that have been made from brides, their families and other industry professionals will last a lifetime!🤍

Working with women for women you see the support that makes us all stronger, you do also see how words can affect confidence and attitudes.🤍
The Bridal Box has always been and always will be here to empower our brides and their crew! We will always give you the confidence and support you may need along the way and will always make sure you have fun!🤍

So our fairytale continues with all of our brides taking starring roles,!

The sun was shining for Hania twice, firstly in Mauritius for a traditional wedding with her family and then in the UK for her English county garden wedding.

Not every bride wants low cut, plunge or see through bodices. Some want a more modest look and feel, let’s reassure you that there is a dress out there for every bride, you do you!
Just because you look fabulous in a plunge neckline, doesn’t mean you have to wear it - follow your heart ❤️

Sizes - no we don’t keep every dress in every size we wouldn’t have the space but we do have different styles and shapes in a variety of sizes.
And we also have many nifty little tricks up our sleeves to give you the best possible way of trying dresses on!
In this day and age of AI you may think that would help, but seeing dresses AI’d on to yourself won’t give you the feel of the fabric against your skin, the weight of the dress or how structured it may or may not be! So try dresses on first before you start getting creative on your phones!

Don’t worry about not being able to try certain sizes, let us guide you on that side of things, and just because it’s on a mannequin doesn’t mean you won’t be able to try it, just ask 🤍

Brides - Are you currently having the following conversation with yourself in your head..

‘I need to try dresses on, yeah but I don’t like shopping. I need to tone up first, Is it weird if I go on my own? Shall I take someone, umm I’m not ready. I don’t even know what I want!! Ugh I’ll put it off a bit longer’

Is this you? Let me tell you, you are not alone!! You feel there is so much pressure do to right by everyone but the one person you have to please is YOU! Don’t get sucked into what happens on TV shows, how things look on social media or what has happened with other people’s wedding journeys, do what’s right for you!

The sweetest soul, Steph came all the way from Cyprus and then Switzerland to find her perfect dress with us! Every visit and fitting was planned to make everything as easy as possible.

Steph, your chilled-out nature and joy were infectious. Even packing the car when you collected your dress was a giggle!!
