It’s hard for me to put into words how much these past two years have changed me as a person and a dancer. @theproject_dancestudio provided me with a space to grow and achieve my biggest dreams. A few years ago, I lost passion for the thing I loved most and never thought I would be dancing my senior year. But I’ve learned that when you love something enough, you fight for it, so I did.

To my parents, sister, family, and friends— @morgan.mullaney @mullaneypt : Thank you for always being my biggest supporters over these last 15 years. If it weren’t for your constant love and many sacrifices, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thank you for bringing me to every practice, competition, showcase, and audition. You have celebrated with me, cried with me, and, most importantly, loved me every step of the way.

To my amazing teachers and mentors— @gwendolynbaum @paoloarceo @craiggyweggy @kali_trizz @missericadances @pdacro @erinpbeattie_ : Thank you for always pushing me to be the best version of myself and teaching me not only how to be a better dancer but a better person. You have all taught me countless lessons that I will forever hold close to my heart as I journey onto this next chapter of my life.

To my PD family: Thank you for being my second family. Although our time together was short, it’s one that I cherish deeply. I have always felt that the bond I shared with my dance family was unlike any other relationship—unbreakable and truly special. I have learned something from each and every one of you and wish that we had more time together.

Lastly, to @miss_elysha : When I walked into Project Dance for the first time, I could have never imagined how much one person could change my life. You believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself and taught me the importance of perseverance. Thank you for opening your doors to me and allowing me to become a part of the beautiful community that you created. I truly would not be where I am today if it weren’t for you. I am blessed that you were brought into my life when I needed it the most.
