Happy 4th Birthday to our itty bitty Princess! Ava, you are living proof that the best things come in small packages. Today marks 15 years since you physically left us. Time has passed quickly, but there are days when it feels like the Earth is standing still. I find peace in your pictures because at least for a minute you are young, healthy, and whole; smiling and happy living your life. But what I would give to have a picture of you today….fully gray and surrounded by all seven of your grandbabies. I know that you spent time with each of them in heaven before you sent their souls earth side but it will always break my heart that they don’t get to experience the full magnitude of who you were. It’s true what they say that grief is a journey and it does get easier day by day one step at a time. I carry you with me everywhere I go and will do so until we meet again one day. I love you so much Daddy and I miss you endlessly. Come visit me in my dreams tonight please 🤍.
