We tell our trainees in our Shooting Academy program all the time… “you can’t expect to be confident shooting the ball in a game if you’re not getting enough quality shots up in training”

Confidence comes from reps and seeing the ball go through the rim over and over again. That’s how you build supreme confidence. That’s how you develop shooter’s amnesia. Miss one? Cool. The next one is going in. 🎯🏀 taken in Bridge Basketball Academy by @bridgebball

Every company needs a Coach L.

Never complains. Always on time. Always dependable. Doesn’t need to be reminded what needs to be done. Just shows up, works, and takes care of business.

More importantly, he cares about these trainees and takes pride in developing them the right way.

Coach L has been a big part of what we’ve built at Bridge, and people like him make running a business a whole lot easier.

Definitely appreciate you, Coach. 💯🤝🏾 taken in Bridge Basketball Academy by @bridgebball

Working on when to attack the advantage and drawing two and making the right read out of it. It’s not just about making a move. It’s about seeing what the defense is giving you. #pointguardIQ taken in Bridge Basketball Academy by @bridgebball

It’s one thing to get shots up. It’s another thing to actually learn how to shoot.

Been training at Bridge since he was 11 years old and this summer was a big one. He went into the summer with zero offers and came out with 10+.

We spent years working hard on the details of being a true point guard… making reads, understanding coverages, controlling pace, making the right decisions, and learning how to run a team.

Through all the noise, all the opinions and everything he was told, he never stopped training at Bridge. Now look at the outcome. And yeah… I’m going to pop my shit a little bit.

It’s funny watching parents take player development advice from dudes who have never developed ONE player into a college basketball player. Meanwhile, I’ve helped HUNDREDS get there.

I don’t need to sell y’all a dream. The résumé is the résumé. by @bridgebball

A lot of players don’t need a new shot. They need to clean up the one they already have. 🎯🏀

That’s what we’ve been working on in our August Shooting Classes. Footwork. Balance. Shot prep. Hand placement. Getting to the same shot every time.

We use film so our trainees can actually see what we see, make the correction, and get the reps in. Season is getting closer. Now is the time to clean it up.

August Shooting Classes are underway. 🎯🏀

Come work on the details to improve your shooting…. balance, footwork, shot prep, consistency, and shooting the same shot every time.

We’ll break your shot down on film, make the small corrections, and get you ready before the season starts. taken in Bridge Basketball Academy by @bridgebball

AAU season is over.

Now it’s time to get back in the gym.

If your goal is to become a more confident shooter, this is the time to put the work in. Don’t wait until school tryouts to wish you had.

Bridge Shooting Academy is now enrolling.

Let’s clean up your mechanics, build consistency, and make sure the next time you step on the floor, your shot is one of your biggest strengths.

Limited spots available. Let’s get to work. 🎯🏀 taken in Bridge Basketball Academy by @bridgebball

We’re always thinking about how we can teach the game better and help our trainees develop faster. If something doesn’t exist, we’ll build it ourselves. taken in Bridge Basketball Academy by @bridgebball

If you’re 6’5” and taller, they call it 3&D defend, knock down shots, know your role. If you’re 6’3” and smaller, they call it being a DAWG.

That means picking up 94 feet, guarding your yard, fighting through screens, making life miserable for the ball handler, and bringing relentless energy every possession. Everybody trains the offense… but not everybody trains the work of being a defensive stopper. At Bridge, we don’t just train offense. We develop two-way players. taken in Bridge Basketball Academy by @bridgebball
