Life lately: 🤟🤪 I need to stop learning sign language 😔 by @bridger.tomberlin
I cannot even begin to describe the loss I’m feeling right now and the loss that Bryce’s family is feeling. Today I lost Bryce Stanfield, my brother, my best friend, and former teammate all in one day. Bryce was special. He was a son, a grandson, a brother, a nephew and a cousin. He was a friend to so many and impacted so many lives. I saw that today in the numerous coaches, students, athletes and administrators from Furman that flooded the halls of the hospital today to say their goodbyes. I heard so many stories of how he helped others and made a lasting impact on lives. Bryce was always smiling and so many people looked up to him because of his great character and work ethic. I’ve known Bryce since I was in the 6th grade and we had been best friends ever since. We did so many things together and we had so many future plans. If you knew Bryce you knew he was tough and he was a fighter. Bryce always loved lifting and always used those gains out on the field to fight as hard as he could. I never thought I would be in the situation I was in today and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to endure. Saying goodbye to Bryce. He fought as hard as he could every step along the way and never stopped. Thank you to everyone that supported and reached out. Keep Bryce’s family in your heart as we all go through this hard time. Bryce’s family needs all the prayers and support they can get. Until we see each other again in heaven. Love you and Fly high buddy 🕊️#MeanGreenForever by @bridger.tomberlin
