i am absolutely thrilled to say this april 25th, 2027 i will be running big sur international marathon for girls on the run central coast & silicon valley 🥹 and this will be my first marathon! i have been coaching since freshman year for girls on the run greater boston and it has quickly become one of my favorite things about college! getting the opportunity to work with girls who bring joy and enthusiasm to practice every week makes me feel incredibly proud, and i cherish all the laughs and smiles they’ve given me 😊 girls on the run is a non profit afterschool program for third-fifth grade girls with a mission to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a evidence based curriculum that integrates physical activity and running! as a social work student and runner, this organization is incredibly important to me, and has given me invaluable insight into youth based programming and childhood development. i have a fundraising goal of $2,000 and would be incredibly grateful to any and all donations made for this amazing organization, link in my bio!! 🩷 california 🔜 #bigsurmarathon #girlsontherun
