In December 2024, I was essentially bullied by @ziphunter and @nicomayap into taking a knitting class at my new local yarn shop- what a gift that was 🎉

Now, as December 2025 comes to an end, I wanted to look back on everything I’ve made this year, the most important of which are the friendships 🥰

Gathering every week at @flyingsquirrelyarnshop with new friends @stephaniefereiro @acrouse24 @lindsay.mark and @emmalettucetomato has become my favourite way to spend an evening.

And the subsequent knit-related text chat with old friends Zipora, Nicole, @sarabowdridge and @laura.macnev deserves an honorable mention too, for keeping us connected across long distances.

I’m looking forward to what else this lovely little hobby brings in 2026. Happy New Year! 🥂
