“Should we just keep driving?” 🚗 🍂

Actually… yes, especially when there’s a Pittsburgh-area fall gem like @soergelorchards waiting to be explored!

Last weekend, a close friend and I met halfway (literally!) here in Wexford. I’m coming from the West End, she’s coming from Mars, and it turned out to be the perfect meeting spot for a beautiful fall day.

From pumpkin picking & browsing seasonal home decor to running into familiar faces, enjoying a pulled pork sandwich, & wrapping up the day with fresh apple cider donuts, Soergel’s gave us all the reasons to slow down & enjoy the season.

So, should you keep driving? If Soergel’s is the destination, absolutely. 🎃🍎

Sunrise, skyline & a little 🥊 to kick off the @steelers home opening weekend! 🖤💛

This morning’s @bagandbarre on Mount Washington was the perfect way to rise & shine ☀️ From stretching with @stretchlabstripdistrict to throwing punches overlooking the city, this was one workout that definitely woke us up!

The vibes were HIGH, the music was LOUD, and the community of women showing up, pushing themselves & cheering each other on was even better. ✨

So thankful I signed up, stepped outside my comfort zone, and got to experience such an incredible morning with an amazing group of people — all while taking in one of the best views in the Burgh. 🏙️

Shoutout to the local businesses that helped make it happen: @known.aesthetics & @convivecoffee 🧴☕️

Pittsburgh real estate, Pilates, community + a little ✨Louis Vuitton✨… say less. 👀🖤💛

This morning I had the pleasure of being invited back to @propertiesandpilates , hosted by @rachelmarshallsellshomes with an incredible mat Pilates class led by @_amandalab 🫶🏼

Set inside a stunning home nestled between Highland Park and East Liberty, every detail of this experience was thoughtfully curated — from the beautiful space to the yogurt parfaits, FitMosas, matcha bar, partner goodies and, of course, a luxury giveaway! 😭👜✨

What I love most about Properties & Pilates is how it brings together Pittsburgh real estate, wellness and community in such a fun and unique way. It’s so exciting to watch this collaboration grow, and I’m honored to be included along the way.

A little taste of Greece right here in the Burgh 🇬🇷

While running errands north of the city this afternoon, my husband and I stumbled upon the @holytrinitygreekfoodfest — and as someone with a Greek family, it immediately felt like home. 🥹 It also made me miss my Yiayia a little extra today.

We ate our way through gyros, Greek fries, loukoumathes, baklava and plenty of other sweet treats (because obviously 😂), but some of my favorite moments were the conversations along the way. Meeting people who were born and raised in Greece or who, like me, have their own special Yiayia memories made the afternoon that much more meaningful.

The festival runs through tomorrow night, so consider this your sign to stop by, grab a plate, support the community and soak up a little Greek culture right here in Pittsburgh. 🇬🇷

Definitely one of the sweetest ways to spend the long Labor Day weekend! 💙

A little Pittsburgh-area hidden gem for your next girls’ day 🧖‍♀️✨

We spent the morning celebrating my best friend’s birthday at @osiriswellness and it was the perfect escape! From relaxing massages next to the koi pond to an incredible pedicure, the entire experience felt like a little getaway without leaving the Burgh. 🌿💆‍♀️

The staff was wonderful, the atmosphere was so peaceful, and we were already wishing we had booked the longer massage! 😂

Definitely suggest adding this to your Pittsburgh must-try list. 🤍

5 days off. 5½ hours from Pittsburgh. A whole lot of bridges built along the way. 🤍

We traded work emails for Finger Lakes views, hiking trails, breweries, good food, and the best reason to unplug: celebrating my brother’s marriage to my now oldest sister. 🥂

And somehow, everywhere we went, we kept finding connections.

We met people while hiking who happened to know mutual friends… who were from York, PA — another part of the state we used to call home. Because apparently, PA is REALLY just one big small town. 😂

We swapped recommendations with people we met along the way — breweries to try, restaurants to visit, trails to hike, and places we’ll have to come back for.

But the biggest bridge of the weekend? The one my brother and his wife created. 🫶🏼

They brought together family and friends from different places, different chapters, and different walks of life — and somehow bridged the gap between everyone to create one big group, all there for the same reason: to celebrate THEM.

A 5½-hour drive from Pittsburgh reminded me that sometimes the best part of exploring somewhere new isn’t just the place… it’s the people you meet, the connections you make, and the memories you bring home.

So thankful for 5 days to disconnect, reconnect, explore, celebrate, and do what I love with the people I love most.

What started as a Sunday morning stroll for coffee quickly turned into discovering one of Pittsburgh’s best summer traditions: Open Streets Pittsburgh! 🚲☀️

A few times throughout the summer, city streets are transformed into a car-free space where pedestrians, cyclists, skateboarders, runners, and families can explore the city while supporting local businesses, organizations, and vendors along the route.

This past Sunday’s Strip District lineup included:

🏐 The Pittsburgh Grass Open never disappoints. Over 1,000 players, three days of elite grass volleyball, and one of the best summer traditions in the Burgh. 🌿

I wasn’t playing this year, but getting to catch up with old teammates, cheer on friends, and watch some insane rallies was just as fun.

Today reminded me exactly why I started @bridgingtheburgh_ . 🤍

I showed up to a Pilates class solo, but I didn’t leave that way.

A few days ago, I messaged @pjfrontino about joining a brunch reservation after class. She connected a few of us who were all coming alone, and what started as a table for five quickly turned into 10+ strangers deciding to take a chance on meeting new people.

After an incredible class, about a dozen of us sat around one table sharing brunch, conversations, laughs, and new connections.

That’s what Bridging the Burgh is all about—showing up, saying yes, and turning strangers into community. Pittsburgh feels a little smaller when we’re willing to bridge the gap. 🖤💛

Spent the evening at the @beyondboss_ Girls Night Out surrounded by women who are building businesses, chasing big ideas, and lifting each other up along the way. From honest conversations on the panel to meaningful connections in the crowd, I left with fresh inspiration, new relationships, and a reminder that community is one of Pittsburgh’s greatest strengths.
