Spent yesterday safely packaging the prints ready to be delivered this week. #eatonfund #printmaker #reprintmakers by @briebarnacleprints

This is my favourite of my paintings so far, I love this cloud and have had it as my screen saver for a year so finally got round to painting it. #cloud #cloudlovers #printmakers #painter #northcarolina by @briebarnacleprints

Fascinating little chapels punctuated the landscape whilst we drove around in North Carolina and Virginia, alongside flat expanses that simmered in the light. This painting is my attempt to reflect the relationship between the land and the buildings. #printmaking #printmakers #painting #northcarolina #virginia by @briebarnacleprints

I loved the artificial light of the petrol stations against the light of the sky and I’m developing some ideas around this theme to make into etchings. #etching #printmaker #northcarolina #femaleartist by @briebarnacleprints

I’ve been making the most of the fact that my school break up slightly before my children’s school. Over the last week I’ve embarked on a series of paintings inspired by our trip to North Carolina and Virginia last summer. Something about the lights and clouds has inspired me and I have a whole host of images in my head that I would like to develop into prints. These paintings are some of my initial idea. #painting #printmakers #femaleartist #northcarolina by @briebarnacleprints
