Romans 5:8 “but God shows his love for us in that while we are still sinners, Christ died for us”.

Before I came to camp this week I felt like a very lukewarm person. I felt like God didn’t love me because I was a sinner. I looked up to so many people at camp and wanted to be like them the second I became a Christian and was worried because I wasn’t becoming like them. I wanted to feel the Lord even though I wasn’t opening my Bible and asking him for help. I wanted to love the Lord even when I couldn’t hear or see him. But this week at camp Jesus showed me that he loves us even though we are sinners and even when we don’t feel it , he can speak to me through other people, being a good Christian takes time but you have to lock in and try to get there, He’s not speaking to me cause I wasn’t opening my bible, Satan makes Christianity hard not Jesus, I’m not perfect because Gods not done with me yet, I need to start being more humble, courageous, have more integrity, and listen better, If I follow God with all my heart he will make my path straight, and he gave me SO many wonderful friends. So please take what I have learned and apply it to your life because JESUS WILL CHANGE IT FOR THE BETTER!! I love and miss you all of you from camp 🫶 by @brielle_alexander
