Had a wonderful time at the @connectxionsdancefestival this past weekend. I had the opportunity to present my work, Body as Foundry, with several new additions and revisions. It was a rewarding experience to revisit this piece and bring it back to the stage. Thank you to my incredible cast for their artistry, dedication, and collaboration throughout the process. The body is never fixed, never static, it is always becoming. Movement is a continual negotiation of forces, an exchange of push and pull that shapes us in motion. Crust ~ the surface we live on.
