Who knew this would be the plot… by @brieparker

Life lately. ✨
How blessed I am for this life 🖤 by @brieparker

I love what I do. I love the people I work with. And I also love the partners I work with. Thanks to @wadeshipard for not only being a TikTok superstar sport partner for us at tennis, but also becoming someone I would call a friend (god, I hope you feel the same?!)

TikTok launched some research this week on how people use the platform for sports. It was a reminder of why we love it for what we do. 🌟 🎾 by @brieparker

I can’t quite remember what March was (yes I’m behind AGAIN)… but seems like it was a lot of besties, work besties, selfies and Botox. Pretty perfect if you ask me. by @brieparker

To my Roman Empire - happy birthday, Dumps.

You arrived into my life from the Trading Post at 5 weeks old (and a demon wrapped in fur as aunty @allnewblack said). Who knew we’d then be locked in a house together, with the cat, for who even knows how many months/years it was now (it was 12 months!)

Thanks for making me more selfless, for helping me choose life more, and for making me laugh a lot. Granted to say, I’ve become a hell of a lot more tolerant since you came into my life (so has my wallet given we lost so many pillows, couches, beds, books etc in your first years!)

Everyone needs a Dumpling in their life… and they arrive just when you didn’t know you needed them most. Love you baby Dumps. There is no love like the love of an animal (which I feel is because they can’t talk… but whatever) xx by @brieparker

February was bitter sweet. It was ending the AO, it was getting to use my kitchen again and entertaining my friends with my cooking (my love language), it was friends turning 50, it was Daylesford trips with TA family, it was seeing my sister and FaceTiming my favourite nephew, it was a funeral and saying goodbyes we didn’t want to say, it was remembering the meaning of friendships and being back with my baby animals. May I always remember that luck sits firmly on my shoulders… and I’m grateful for everyday I get. February was humbling … and very, very beautiful. by @brieparker

Yes, it is March… but let’s look back at January.

This AO was so FABULOUS. It was the best AO I’ve lived through, and it’s courtesy of the brilliant team I was so lucky to be surrounded by. We achieved results that went out of the park (3.6Billion impressions, we rival aka. beat our global counterparts when we are down under, what the helly!?), and I continue to be shocked our team can do this. I thank the 80+ team that joined us to make it possible, we couldn’t do it without you. I’m so enamoured by those we get to spend summer with, thank you.

I’m also so grateful for the people I get to spend my year round days with, who work so hard, who dedicate their time to our sport, who tolerate my crazy, who prop me up (and I hope I prop you up too!) I can not wait for AO27, if this is what we did this year…. Imagine what we can do next year.

Special mention to my PEOPLE - @viv_christie @matttrollope @kellyborholm @imhoffdan @stellabarry_ @paddyjohns @rhysdedeugd @namrata.maria @thematbk @tylernimmo_ @hupogram @jacksonmansell1 @xavierbach @rehanehdek @fisomerville @bourbonandadventures + Felicia, Liam and Andrea

As I often say, no man (person) is an island. And fuck, I love the islands we inhabit xxx 🏝️ by @brieparker

December for me is always marked with a lot of work.

But this summer is hard because we lost a dear tennis friend, and that’s hard… I’ve lost too many friends young, and my heart bleeds for them. I hope they know I love them and they know I wish they were still here.

But in saying that, December was filled with beautiful friends and family - and while the world burned around us, I had amazing arms around me.

December reminded me life isn’t easy, but I’m grateful for those that rally around me. I know I’m lucky. And I will never take that for granted.

December was hard, but every day has a sunrise. And I want to see them x by @brieparker

Grateful for the day I got a job at The Argyle in Sydney at 23 and I met this gal who everyone loved (and I spoke to no one), and I had a “bar blade” my parents bought in Fiji when I was 13… and she took me under her wing. Thank god for friends xx HNY @sylvia.alcarraz by @brieparker

November is my favourite month of the year.
Firstly, it’s when my birthday is - and I LOVE birthdays, anyone’s!
Secondly, it’s generally beautifully hot weather (despite Melbourne has been fucked and we have been averaging 12-17 degree days with hayfever and asthma through the roof).
But other than that, November was perfect.
No notes (except can we PLEASE have some hot weather!) by @brieparker

I do love me a birthday week 🎈
