In the mid-70s, renowned fashion photographer and physics engineer HW Briese set out to revolutionize studio lighting. What began as a personal quest soon changed the industry: He developed a reflector that brought the crisp, natural quality of sunlight into the studio – with full control and precision.

The result? A new era of lighting – sharp, adjustable, and beautifully real.

The briese 180H is really effective, I also placed a 140H next to the model. In the light of the eyes, the big one is 140, and the 180 is placed 4 meters in front of the model.

✨For this Beautiful editorial Shooting for @blondemagazine I had the chance to test the new Briese Harvey Beauty Reflector. Just one light source, and you are good to go from sculpted to ‚window‘-like lightning. I just love it - but I guess this is no surprise. He made my lightning game effortless: just changing the focus length or the angle - and I got something new and really beautiful. I mean - look at our results. ✨
