Some love stories start at a drive-thru speaker late at night. Drive Thru Magic is a story about grief, second chances, and the boy you can’t stop thinking about. This one is for the BL fans 🍔🏰❤️‍🩹 link in the bio.

🍔🏰❤️‍🩹 Drive Thru Magic premieres today. A two-year journey for me, where I kept trying to write and kept setting it down because it was too damn close. This BL was created and is coming to you now as I navigate my own grief, watching my Gramma decline from dementia. As much as this is a love story, it’s my way of honoring not only her, but the rockstar women who raised and shaped me.

I want to thank @laurenshippen for encouraging me to push through and create this, as well as executive producing, starring in it, and for being my best friend and sister.

Thank you to @daniel_j_kim for being my partner in this. Your talent, trust, vulnerability, and grace through the whole process has meant so much to me. I’m grateful to be even a small part of your story. You’re a legend. Let’s fall in love again on another one, okay?

To @danielle_kennedy_, thank you for coming in with such wit and tenderness. We go back to our time at @bgbstudio and our wonderful manager @ofarrellartist, so we’ve been connected for a long time now. I’m so honored to have finally gotten to work with you. You’re an icon.

To @rowdyvega, thank you for your friendship, your mastery, and the zero seconds you took before volunteering your studio @phantomvoixes to make this possible. You supported me on Look Up and now DTM. I’m grateful.

Thank you to @size.music for writing an incredible original song and elevating everything with your artistry and open heart. You’re such a special talent. “Back To You” is an unbelievable achievement. Thanks for trying something new with me!

To @cagdigital for the stunning show art and everything else. I never want to stop creating with you, my brother.

Thank you to my Gramma. All of the weird, cool, interesting parts of me either came from you or were encouraged by you. I love you with all of my heart. You know this. Deep down, you know it.

Lastly, thank you to you. Thank you for rooting for me, being a friend and supporter, and for listening to this show as it rolls out from now until November 30th. I hope you know you’re not alone in your own grief, and that love in whatever form you hope for could be just around the co taken in Los Angeles, California by @briggon

Could you fall in love with someone through a drive-thru speaker? 🍔🏰❤️‍🩹

Drive Thru Magic is a new BL fiction podcast about two strangers, Gabe and Louie, who fall for each other one order at a time. Every night Gabe pulls up to the same drive-thru window, and every night Louie’s the voice on the other end — sharing their# grief in their own lives and figuring out how to move forward as young adults, together.

Starring @briggon (The Bright Sessions) as Gabe and @daniel_j_kim (Cobra Kai) as Louie, with @danielle_kennedy_ (The ‘Burbs) and @laurenshippen (Two Thousand and Late). Created by Briggon Snow. Produced by @atypicalartists.
