✨ TINY ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: ERIKA ZEKOS | NOW IS THE TIME

What happens when art invites us to become part of the experience rather than simply observe it? 👀

Meet Now Is The Time by Erika Zekos, a public installation artist, architect, designer, and educator whose multidisciplinary practice explores the intersections of architecture, landscape, and the built and natural environments.

Erika creates site-specific installations that respond to the character and history of a place, often using humble, accessible materials and inviting community participation. Her work challenges the traditional relationship between artist, artwork, and audience—transforming viewers into active participants who help shape the meaning of the work through interaction, exploration, and shared experience.

With Now Is The Time, Erika brings that participatory spirit to Fun Sized. Her practice reminds us that public art isn’t just something we encounter in a space; it’s something we can engage with, contribute to, and experience together. It’s an invitation to be present, to participate, and to consider the possibilities that exist all around us.

Working across painting, drawing, installation, and public art, Ortiz creates richly layered compositions that bring together abstraction, symbolism, and storytelling. What connects us—to the natural world, to one another, and to the many selves we carry within us? 🌿

Meet That Which Remains Unbroken by M Rudder, an artist whose practice explores identity, the sacred, belonging, and our interconnectedness with the natural world.

As M writes in their artist statement, their work seeks to “explore and affirm the multitudes we contain.” Their practice reaches beyond artmaking, bringing together creative community-building, spiritual reflection, and a commitment to reclaiming connection and belonging. What if joy could change the way we experience the world? 👀

Meet Wandering Delight by Cicely Carew, a multidisciplinary artist whose vibrant, immersive practice explores joy, embodied experience, memory, and transformation.

For Carew, joy is more than a feeling—it can be a force for liberation, opening up new ways of seeing, connecting, and being in the world. Through color, movement, and intuitive material exploration, her work invites us to embrace the unexpected and remain open to the possibilities that emerge when we let ourselves wander.

With Wandering Delight, that spirit feels right at home in Fun Sized. What happens when we slow down, follow our curiosity, and allow ourselves to experience a familiar place differently? ✨ TINY ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: SCOUT CUOMO | DENIZEN

🌊 What does it mean to belong to a place—to be part of its living, breathing world?

Meet DENIZEN by Scout Cuomo, a multidisciplinary artist based in Greenfield, Massachusetts, whose work explores the relationship between the human and natural world.

Scout’s distinctive process layers rich pigments between translucent sheets of cured polymer resin on lucite or glass, creating luminous works with extraordinary depth and movement.

With DENIZEN, the title itself invites us to consider what it means to be an inhabitant—to exist within a place, rather than simply pass through it. It’s a fitting question for Fun Sized, where tiny artworks invite us to reconsider our relationship with the places we think we already know.

✨ TINY ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: EVA PUSHKOVA | ANIMATE

What happens when technology meets the handmade? 👀

Meet ANIMATE by Eva Pushkova, a multidisciplinary maker whose practice spans fiber, ceramics, glass, metal, found objects, and pixels. A collector of skills, tools, materials, and experiences, Eva approaches art through play, experimentation, and an ongoing curiosity about how things work—and what else they might become.

With a background in both art and web development, Eva explores the friction and synergy between technology and the handmade. Her work brings together design, storytelling, and material exploration, balancing our increasingly digital lives with the physical, tactile, and wonderfully messy world of making.

ANIMATE brings that spirit of exploration to Fun Sized, inviting us to pause, look closer, and consider the creative possibilities that emerge when different worlds collide.
