An American voice in Leipzig, Germany. Songwriting, Voice Acting, and being a human. 🤘Leipzig 18.09 Band Show TICKETS:

POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m going back in time. On Thursday, April 17th** I’ll release the first of a few new live performances we filmed a while back - in one of my favorite haunts: @ig_fortuna_kino_der_jugend. This dilapidated Leipzig ruin was once a beloved gathering place and movie theater in the GDR era, transformed from a “town gas” storage plant in 1929. It sighed its last breath as a cultural center back in October 1990 when the wall fell and the GDR ended. It sat for 30 years, collecting dust, harboring ghosts and hidden stories, like a forgotten suitcase of memories, stuck somewhere between the unwound hands of the clock. 30 years later, a group of Leipzig history buffs cracked open the theater’s shell and breathed new breaths of wonder and excitement into this abandoned chamber. It was the perfect place - and time - to interpret a song that so many of us know. Can’t wait to share it with you! See you on the 17th. Don’t be late.

@versalat_erzgebirge SA 13.10!!! Not many of you who follow me will be able to get to the Erzgebirge for this show (obwohl ihr solltet!!!) but that’s ganz egal to me, I just want to share this video. I haven’t seen @borisandthejoy party in 4 years, and it’s been great playing these shows in East Germany together and reconnecting to brother I met at Bar4 10,000 years ago. The man is such an artist and lover of all the weird things life has to offer. I guess that makes me one of them. Go see his remaining shows on this European Tour !!! by @bright_silence

Sei dabei für ‚ne Kevin Solo classic Show am 06.05 …

Really happy to be back in Der Gute Quelle - especially because the name of the venue changes depending on how it’s used in a sentence in German. HOW FUN IS THAT, HUH?

So come out, listen, support and let’s have a great time before the spring and summer whisk us away and transform us into prancing, carefree sun fairies or whatever.

Happy Ides, y’all. Some shots from the echoey 100 year old hall known as @beyerhaus in Leipzig last weekend. What a pleasure to play with @moritzpachaleguitar - and to do so for an audience who truly listened. It doesn’t get much better than that. Thanks to @sound.of.jazz for the space and time and to @leroyalz for photos 1 - 5 and @lazy_lama_podcast for photo number 6.

Take care of each other! See you next time. by @bright_silence

Freut euch auf Kevin Johnston und Moritz Pachale im Duo!

Sonntag, 08.03.
17:00 Uhr
10€ Abendkasse

INFOTEXT:
