I’m excited to announce that I’ll be presenting at the 2026 Louisiana Rural Education Summit on November 13, 2026, at Louisiana State University! My presentation, “The Workforce Is Already Here: From Evidence to Expansion—Scaling Proven Healthcare, Workforce, and Technology Solutions Across Rural Louisiana,” challenges us to rethink how we approach workforce development in rural communities. What if the workforce we need is already here? In my recent blog post, “We Don’t Have a People Shortage. We Have a Systems Shortage,” I explore a perspective that has shaped much of my work as an entrepreneur, healthcare executive, and workforce development advocate. Our communities are filled with talent, potential, and opportunity. Yet too often, the systems designed to connect people to education, training, employment, and economic mobility operate independently of one another. The challenge isn’t always finding more people. Sometimes, it’s building better systems. Through Bright University, Brightside Clinic, and Bright Technology Group, I’ve focused on creating practical solutions that connect workforce training, healthcare, technology, and employer needs. At the summit, I’ll share how we can move from evidence to expansion, building scalable, employer-connected workforce solutions that strengthen rural communities across Louisiana. 📖 Read my blog post, “We Don’t Have a People Shortage. Safety has a price and a name. Insurance. And nearly 15% of gross revenue! I’ve been wishing and hoping for decreases every year and every year I lose. Anyway. Time to pay the piper. 😔 by @brightbyevon

Workforce Entrepreneurship and Technology CERTIFICATE Program This program is a collaboration between Baton Rouge Community College @mybrcc and @brightbyevon, Bright University. It is designed to provide students with practical business operation skills by focusing on hands-on implementation rather than just theory. It requires participants to build a functional DASH enterprise management portal throughout a 16 session course.Students master Microsoft 365 tools and AI integration to help streamline professional workflows. This is not “just another” accelerator program. This is a course designed to help students build what they need to effectively manage their businesses. They leave the course with a customized platform designed by them and for them. Bright University’s pillars are: Training and Technology Use what you have. Start where you are. Do what you can. -Arthur Ashe ♥️ Program and curriculum designed and developed by Evon L. Roquemore, MPA, CSSGB, CSSLB ♥️ Facilitated by Evon L. FREE eBOOK SERIES by Evon Roquemore, MPA CSSLB | CSSGB “WE ALREADY HAVE THAT AT HOME” Too many business owners believe growth requires more— more staff, more money, more tools, more outsourcing. But the truth is this: In every season of your business, you already have exactly what you need to reach the next level. This month, I’m introducing a four-part FREE eBook series designed for business owners who are growing with limited margins, lean teams, and real-world constraints—not venture capital fantasies. Inspired by Arthur Ashe’s words: “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” This series shows you how to: • Leverage the systems you already pay for • Maximize the capacity of your current processes • Build operational clarity before adding headcount • Grow intentionally without burning yourself out 📘 We Already Have That At Home A Four-Part eBook Series on Smart, Sustainable Growth ✨ Volume One drops in December 👉 Request your free pre-order copy by clicking the link in my bio. The book is free, but only for those who pre-order. Growth isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing better with what’s already in your hands. #WeAlreadyHaveThatAtHome #FreeEbook #FourPartSeries #SmartGrowth #LeanBusiness #BuildWithWhatYouHave #OperationsMatter #StageOneBusiness #StageTwoBusiness #Evon #EvonRoquemore #bright by @brightbyevon

✨ Time for a reintroduction ✨ A close friend told me today that she had no idea what I actually do. And that made me realize — if she’s not clear, many of you might not be either. I need to fix that. 👋🏾 I’m Evon Roquemore — a business innovator, Six Sigma strategist, and technology builder. I help leaders and entrepreneurs turn complexity into clarity with systems and platforms that make scaling possible. 🌐 Soon you’ll see my new website go live. 📚 I’ve created a 4-part free ebook series, “We Already Have That at Home”, to help businesses grow using the data, tools, and processes they already own. ⚡ And I’m bringing forward DASH, my BrightHub ERM platform — a one-stop hub that lets CEOs operate like they already have a COO, CFO, and systems team, even before they hire them. The power of DASH is that it acts as a bridge between Stage 1 and Stage 2 businesses — helping entrepreneurs operate like seasoned leaders before they have the full resources of a larger organization. So if you’ve ever wondered, “What exactly does Evon do?” — here’s your answer. I build solutions that help businesses scale smarter. 💡 Now, tell me; did you learn something new? 😊 #BusinessInnovation #ScalingSmarter #WeAlreadyHaveThatAtHome #ThePowerOfDASH #womeninbusiness by @brightbyevon

Being a creator is sometimes a slow and painful process because change can be so slow. Today I got what I’m coining “a win” because after nearly four years following a successful tech launch, my staff, unprompted, sent me a message in teams saying my platform; DASH, is “a great tool”. A win is a win. But also. Don’t let anyone’s lack of vision AND/OR lack of use stop you from doing your part. You have a responsibility to do your part. The world needs it; even if those in the present moment can’t see it or appreciate it. Love yall. 😘 #dash #bright #enterpriseresourcemanagement #erm #technology #microsoft #evon #evonroquemore by @brightbyevon
