Trigger warning ⚠️ #ahpra

Just kidding. Kinda 🫠

If you work in healthcare you’ll know that little nervous-system somersault associated with Ahpra.

When the September 2025 changes landed, we saw the impact on our healthcare clients. And with one client in particular, we were mid-rebuild of their entire website when it hit.

So we fell down a compliance rabbit hole for the best part of a year 🙃

Here are a few things we've learned:

🔎 AI alone doesn’t cut it for scanning sites. Sad, but true (sorry Claudie).
🔎 The vibe-coded scanners on the market don’t cut it either (we tried them all).
🔎 Most AI scanners can’t tell Ahpra from the TGA, plus they over-flag the harmless stuff and sail straight past the real problems.

This past year, we've been building our own software. One scanner to rule them all 😅

We've sought input from our favourite healthcare nerds, tech bros, and most importantly, we've listened carefully to the practitioners and practice managers to understand the support they want.

Our software does the pre-read and ties every flag to the exact rule, then real humans (hi 🙋‍♀️) review the lot and give you alternative words and photos. We can implement the changes too, if you like.

We reckon this hybrid approach gives you the best of both worlds; sophisticated scanning software plus human checking.

Little sneak peek of @gccvisuals new website 🤍

Love these results 🥹
