❤️ **PRESERVING ST MARY’S, SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY** ❤️

**We need your help to keep St Mary’s Kemp Town open, welcoming, and thriving!**

St Mary’s is much more than a place of worship. Our beautiful, historic church is a welcoming space at the heart of Kemp Town, bringing people together through music, concerts, community activities, and local events.

But maintaining a building like ours comes with significant financial challenges, and we’ve launched a new JustGiving campaign to help us meet some important costs.

❤️ **What are we fundraising for?**

🎹 **Bechstein grand piano repairs** – helping to maintain our treasured piano, which plays an important role in our concerts, recitals, and musical life.

💡 **Upcoming utility costs** – helping us meet the costs of heating, lighting, and keeping the church open and welcoming.

🔧 **Outstanding and ongoing running costs** – supporting the essential maintenance, repairs, and everyday expenses involved in caring for St Mary’s.

**Every donation, however large or small, makes a difference.**

Whether you worship with us, attend our concerts, take part in community activities, or simply value having St Mary’s at the heart of Kemp Town, we'd be incredibly grateful for your support.

💝 **DONATE HERE:**
https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/PreservingStMarysSupportingOurCommunity

If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this post. Helping us spread the word is valuable too!

**Thank you for helping us preserve St Mary’s and support our community.** ❤️

History Has No Safe Word.

"... masterful stagecraft ... immersive and engaging throughout... a highly accomplished piece of writing and performance... a visceral portrayal of life in Pompeii on the eve of the infamous Vesuvian eruption in 79 CE.

Brown clearly knows his history, and the way he brings Pompeii to life is nothing short of astonishing. There is a gripping action scene in the second half that had my wife reaching out her arms to intervene, so immersed was she in the story.

There are three performances left in this run, on May 15 and 16.
If historical drama is your thing, you’re in for a treat."

Fringe Review, 2026.
