🎭⚡ A High-Energy Visit for Our Wildcats! ⚡🎭

Today, our students enjoyed a special interactive theatre experience thanks to a partnership between Duke Energy and Bright Star Touring Theatre as part of the Energy Efficiency in Schools Program. This FREE program brings engaging performances to elementary and middle schools while teaching practical, cost-saving energy habits students can use at home and school.

~TK–2nd Grade students took off with Peter Pan in Duke Energyland, joining Peter, Wendy, and the Lost Power Boys on a high-flying adventure to learn how small changes can make homes more energy-wise.

~3rd–5th Grade students set sail with The Pirates of Efficient Sea, helping a forgetful pirate crew rediscover the importance of conserving electricity—turning off lights, unplugging devices, and using energy wisely.

We loved seeing our Wildcats laugh, participate, and learn how they can make a difference through everyday energy-smart choices! 🌎💡

Auld Lang Syne, written by Robert Burns, plays a large part in our show "Holidays Around the World". Themes of cherishing friendships and old memories are so important as we make our way into the new year. Happy 2026 everyone! by @brightstartheatre
