Hello! Meet the new brand, Brightwell Studio - Bringing stories to light. Brightwell Studio was born from a lifelong love of documenting life’s meaningful moments. After years of specializing in brand photography, this new chapter brings together both passions: helping businesses tell their story with authenticity while preserving the everyday beauty of family life. Guided by connection, creativity, and the symbolism of light, Brightwell Studio creates images that feel personal, joyful, and timeless, capturing not just what a season looked like, but what it felt like. There are a few words that I would say describe Brightwell Studio and not just the brand but myself as well. I thrive on community & finding people that are in my corner - for the good, the bad, and the ugly parts. I approach preserving the everyday beauty with film because of the way stories are shown through the grainy moments. And there’s a lot of intention in the way I go about planning your photos. I want your galleries to speak life into your people and in order to do that. It’s not just taking a photo but it’s telling your story authentically. As most of you know, the feeling of light is something that I thrive on as a creator & figuring out a way to incorporate the sun without it being overly obvious was really important to me with this rebrand. I also talk about flourishing and love watching how brands and people evolve. So when working with Lauren, these icons need to speak to both of those things I’m over the moon with how everything turned out and the intention behind it all. So, welcome to Brightwell Studio! We’ve got two more days of “You got the brand photos, now what?” For Day 6, we’re talking about going beyond Instagram or any other online marketing platform. What’s better than having your brand photos work for you online? Having them work for you with printed materials! Just because printed materials might take more time and possibly cost a little bit more doesn’t mean that they don’t work for your business. The fabric tells part of the story. The people behind it tell the rest. Usually, when I photograph this brand, I’m in the studio photographing the beautiful fabrics themselves — the textures, patterns, and details. But for this session, we wanted to go a little deeper. We stepped into the warehouse to document the people behind the process. The hands cutting and sewing. The stacks of fabric waiting to become something. The quiet, everyday moments that are easy to overlook when you’re focused on the finished product. And this is exactly why I love brand photography. Because your brand isn’t just what you sell. It’s the people, the process, and all the little pieces that make it what it is. Sometimes you don’t need to create another perfectly polished image. It’s Day 4 of “You got the brand photos, now what?” This one might be HOT take but I really believe you should consider it next time you’re planning your brand photos! Personally, I would hate for you to have a full gallery of brand photos and not be able to use them on your website. But that will only happen if you don’t communicate with your website designer or you have a clear understanding on what your website needs.
