Chapter 2: As I clean out my mom's closets, there are bins of designer purses. This woman loved her purses. I'm talking tons of vintage Fendi, Gucci, LV, Prada, YSL, blah blah blah. This last Christmas, my mom gifted me a designer wallet, to which I did my usual scolding, telling her to return it, because I had just bought myself a Carhartt wallet. Her response was, "Oh wow, how industrial of you." She always had sarcastic comments. She always liked to joke that I have "man hands" since I don't like to do "girly" things, but now when I look at my hands, I see hers. The same little midget hands 😂, so jokes on her. Mom had the best humor; she was always a great sport and participated in stupid stunts or dances when asked. Whenever I'd wave goodbye to her while leaving her place, she'd do this dance from the lead singer of the Talking Heads; it was so weird, but it made me laugh every time. I miss her so much, but all of these memories help me. If you’ve read this, I thank you for being a part of my healing. 🤍🤍🤍 by @brightxlight
