I can’t believe my life sometimes… 🥹One of my absolute favourite things about being a musician is getting to be part of different culture’s celebrations! What is a Sangeet? According to Google, it is “a vibrant, pre-wedding party rooted in South Asian culture, featuring music, choreographed dances, and feasting. Literally translating to “sung together,” the event unites the bride’s and groom’s families to celebrate, break the ice, and kick off the wedding festivities with high-energy entertainment.”There are so many ways to celebrate, but at the end of the day, good food, good music and dancing are at the centre. 😊Have you been to a Sangeet before? by @brigitfiddle
