Alain Delon and Brigitte Bardot during the filming of Histoires extraordinaires (1968), segment “William Wilson”:

On set, Delon and Bardot, both at the height of their fame, impressed the crew with an almost intimidating presence. Between takes, Bardot joked to lighten the mood, while Delon remained focused and silent. One day she said to him with a smile:

“You could at least pretend to be light-hearted!”

Delon then gave a rare smile, triggering laughter from the crew.
It was one of the few relaxed moments on a shoot known for its seriousness.
