Ten years I have thrown myself at this boulder. So many attempts, so many almost’s😅. This weekend, surrounded by an unreasonably wonderful group of humans, it finally went🙌🏼
Did I get better?
Maybe. But what I realized is that every single time I’ve been on this boulder, I had a crew around me: spotting, cheering, trying together. That’s the part I want to highlight: how incredible this community is. Just listening to how it sounds while you’re climbing... it’s special beyond words ♥️ That sound IS “the send” in my life.

Girl on our Mind, 6B+, thank you for the journey, and for teaching me what really matters. Belief is apparently a group sport. Who knew. Life is a journey, and the company is the best part of it ❤️

Rock climb: Exposure in F-major in Dutoitskloof 🎼⛰️

@suzelss and @blackbeautytrads, two women on a mission, both going into the unknown, both eager for the onsight.

The day started at 4am, not so bright eyed but bushy-tailed...

After a sweaty, 3-hour hike up, staring across the valley at future projects… we get ready to climb!

😳 HUGE Exposure was the clear theme of the day!

Abseil into sunset that had us both feeling pretty small 😅🌅

We got back to the base of the climb at midnight, curled up there for the night and hiked out at first light under a bright sky ✨ and got home safely heart full from a breathtaking adventure...

Onsight ticked, bucket list ✅

🧗‍♀️☀️ Finally, summer is here! After a long, wet winter, traditional climbing adventure felt like pure magic with you @mountains_and_stuff ! #ClimbAble

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of solid rock under your fingers after months of rainy days and indoor training. The sun on my face, the breeze on my skin, and the breathtaking views of watsonias down the slopes @tablemountainca – it all came together for a perfect afternoon.

Placing my first piece of gear in what felt like forever was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking. But as I moved up the route, everything just clicked. That flow state we all chase? I found it 😆 and I love it 🥰 !

To all my climbing buddies who’ve been patiently waiting out the weather – let’s make this summer count!

Thanks to @rocklandsyoga (@amy__ns ), and with help from @brigittepegado, @otyogithings and @tanijabotha ... there is now a pathway through the shallow valley!

Now we can share it with others 🤗
Now we can get there without further disturbing the plants 🌱
Now Jethro can take a peaceful afternoon walk to watch the sunset 🧡

First attempt to ski ⛷️ last weekend. Whau how afraid I was… how unsure I was about what my body needs to do with my feet tied… but my friend @shauni53 said Pizza pizza 🍕 and fries 🍟 is all you need to do… 🤣 and I had no clue. Now I do have a clue… how I love life long learning 🤓

From Freiburg train🚆 to Basel to bicycle 🚲 to … warehouse … what’s in the warehouse? … you guessed it a climbing gym🧗🏻‍♀️☺️🙌
Grades where teaching me things … it was a full day mission … yes I brought my own breakfast 🤭
