🌼💛 COVER REVEAL!! 🌼💛 I am so excited to share the beautiful cover for my debut novel, Maybe We Meant It, which will be released on April 6, 2027 and is now available for pre-order!

Maybe We Meant It is about a family funeral upended by a missing diamond ring and the unexpected return of an old love. It’s a big-hearted, messy novel about secrets and second chances and I can’t wait for you all to meet Ben, Frances, and Susie next spring!!

Thank you to the entire team at @parkrowbooks for bringing this story to life. You can pre-order the book on my website or through the link in my bio! Thank you all so much for your support, it truly means the world. 🫶🏻

I wrote a book 🩷 and it’s getting published!

MAYBE WE MEANT IT is a love story and family drama set in the days following the death of a family matriarch, about a brother and sister who set off to recover their grandmother’s missing diamond before anyone realizes it’s missing, the surprising circumstances that led to its disappearance, and the college ex-girlfriend who has been harboring a life-altering secret.

It’s Taylor Swift’s Marjorie meets All Too Well - about love and motherhood, brimming with memories from growing up at the beach and my deep love for Vermont. It represents so much of the hero’s journey I have traveled on rediscovering who I am, and who I want to be. This book was written during the early dawn hours before my children woke up, squeezed into nap times, and edited in bed after everyone was tucked in at night. It’s been a journey, and I can’t wait for the next one - sharing it with all of you.

None of this would be happening if my editor, @erikacoryn didn’t believe in this story. I am so excited to have the team at @parkrowbooks @htpbooks and @harpercollins by my side. And @cmobooks - my dream agent - thank you for believing in me and all of your incredible guidance. I am pinch me lucky to have you and @thebookgrp in my corner.

My new writing account @briana.leclerc will be flowing with book love if you want to follow along this wild new journey with me.

I’ll be here, smiling, writing, and crying with gratitude 🩷 by @brileclercwrites

I spent the last week completely engulfed in Chloe Benjamin’s beautiful world reading Under Story (while taking in the changes in the woods simultaneously). I loved this book so so much. Pure Magic.❤️ @chloekbenjamin taken in Vermont by @brileclercwrites
